But what the hell kind of "clash of opinion" could their be? Is B&B going from eight to ten shows every four days and she just said, "Hell no, we won't go?" Did she clash with Kay Alden?

I'm almost willing to put money on it being an issue with budget. Snyder seems very non-threatening almost to the point of being a non-entity. The beancounters probably needed to make a cut in the writing staff. It was either reduce the number of episodes one of the higher paid people write(i.e. Smith/Kelly) and replace them with one of the junior scriptwriters(Dusevoir/Bradley) or get rid of Snyder. And hey, Minnis/Alden could probably use more cash in their bank accounts in exchange for churning out even less imaginative breakdowns.

After Gary Tomlin bringing in so many veteran writers at DAYS, I don't really believe in writer-budget-cuts anymore. If that EP/HW wants someone on their team, they will make it happen.

When a new EP/HW comes in, they want to clean house and bring in their own people, so it makes sense for some writers to leave without clashing with the EP/HW. But say if a staff writer leaves after 'x' amount of years working with that EP/HW, I get suspicious if they were fired. Maybe something happened during meetings, maybe that writer question too many things and the EP/HW got fed up.

Hmm...I don't really have any hints for this writer....it's too easy if I give one. Hmm......this writer has a great reputation in the industry and is well liked by other writers who've worked with her/him! (such a give away!) LOL

And she's supposed to be this hard working person, but none of that is reflected in the dialogue I see on-screen. It's not her job to rewrite every single script on the show that is just outright bad, but some of the crap(or cr*p as you call it ;) ) that she has let slide is just embarrassing. And she's supposed to be a freaking SCRIPT EDITOR!?!?!

This industry is just hilarious. I mean, how can this happen: you are invited as a guest speaker on a MIT conference/seminar/whatever and just plainly call B&B a silly show whose main reasons of existence is that's it's there for Bradley to write something because his dad created that show for him.

And then after they dump you from ABC you go and ask Brad for a job and he gives it to you.:wacko: WHA'?!

Watch some affiliates expand their newscasts to an hour and elect to air B&B in late-night or not at all when ATWT goes off in September. I think Bloom has ceased being a champion for the serial properties. It's all about low-cost gameshows with her in an attempt to advance to a higher ranking position with CBS/Paramount.

I seriously have no idea why CBS still has that position. P&G shows are P&G shows and the Bell shows are overseen by Bell people and SONY. Why is she there?

I'd like to see that role done away with: establish a new one, lesser, less payed and put someone else there.

Bloom is eating away a lot of money and isn't doing a thing to generate more.

*THE* Head Writer or the Associate Head Writers?

Yeah, I'm leaning towards Johnson too...

OLTL could use SW's like Melissa, and with Courtney Simon on board, they seem to be trying to improve their dialogue team.

Frederick is.

Yeah I guess it was expected.

I wonder why he left, and I don't think he's returning to AMC with Kreizman and Swajeski about to take over (in fact, didn't they start officially today?), and he's not a friend of JHC's.

I seriously hope he does end up in Pine Valley! You know Lorraine would love to have him with her!

I'm not glad he is jobless, but I am that he left OLTL. Really glad.

I think David and Donna officially started today, and are we still clear if Broderick is remaining?

Not so much Broderick and Johnson can do with those two in charge...

I'm not glad he is jobless, but I am that he left OLTL. Really glad.

I bet he doesn't even need the money...

Why are you gald he left OLTL?
