Jack and Carly going a trip after being duped by Sage and Parker. Sure they know deep down it's a trick but they both wanted it to happen anywaya

The Mick story is actually intriguing to me I wonder how this will play out. I'm finding I can tolerate Pelphrey here more than I could back in 2006 when he was always stammering about cousin sex.

Jack does this with all his other wives. Partly out of guilt (deep down knowing he was still in love with Carly), obligation, or downright self-flagellation....whatever. In my most Carjack opinion, it's because he doesn't want to be in the same situation with Jan that he constantly finds himself in with Carly---regretting an impulsive divorce. When he and Carly first broke up (for the last time) he decided unilaterally overnight he was filing for divorce. By the time he was ready to reconsider, Simon had Carly in his sights and talked her into a Caribbean divorce so he could move in for the kill.

I think if Jack understood Jan had already f*cked her next sugar daddy, he'd be less reluctant to wave bye-bye.

Janet and her half ass confession today was too much. Where was her deep Catholic beliefs when she was screwing Jack before she married him. Not even that why didn't they get married by Father So-So since he is obviously her spiritual leader? DK needs to leave the religious sermons to the experts because he is making Janet a bigger tool by the day. It was also interesting that Janet didn't come clean about sleeping with Dusty, now if she really really wanted an annulment, she should have told Jack the entire truth. Obviously, not telling him is going to delay the Carjack reunion.

Speaking of Carjack, I like them and all but I am not really thrilled by their current storyline. For once I just wish the writers would come up with something more creative and way less predictable for these two.

I had some hope that Dusty would actually have a healthy relationship with Bonnie. She was actually a good match for him. Sadly, the writers have no idea what to do with Dusty and this whole Janet affair is evidence of that. I guess I should be glad he isn't hanging around Teri, but still Janet isn't exactly a class act so I am still not impressed.

Alison is still such a bore and why is Mick/James involved with her again?

Glad to see I am not the only one that preferred Scott Hoylrod's Paul. I like RH but I feel he would have better as another character. The same goes for JL as Craig. I grew up with SB as Craig and always think of him as Craig. However, I really enjoyed Hunt Block until the end when he became a pointless character. I even thought Dark Shadow Craig was okay in his own way. JL definitely looks more like SBCraig; however, he really lacks personality to be Craig F-ing Montgomery. JL just doesn't come across strong enough to make me believe he is an equal to Carly, Dusty, Jack or Paul. And he doesn't have sexual chemistry with his leading ladies either and that is a definite turn-off. Overall, I think of him as a character that is little naughty but a complete push-over.

Ron, don't hate me! I though John Howard was, at best, okay looking. Also, his voice had an almost untrained pitch. I felt like he was just reading lines as opposed to acting. Oh, and I didn't mean to infer that Paul is James 2.0. I think that Howarth is Barbara 2.0. It sort of bothers me the way they both share the same conflicted longing for James.

I have really enjoyed the last two eppys. This Mick thing has flaws; however, it still reminds me of old school ATWT. I guess this is because Babs, Emily and Paul remind me of the days before the show became so Snyder-centric and Carly focused. I just hope that we, before the end of this story arc, get to see the real James: Anthony Herrera. They should have just made him contract years ago. They had the perfect chance when the IL. Gov Rod blagojevic was impeached. They could have made it so James got a pardon via bribe or blackmail. The Gov was a sleeze and would have probably done a cameo cheap. James could so be written out of the corner. Some sort of mental illness would have done fine. He would need to be somewhat reformed but James could still be a mixer and cause lots of heartbreak.

Now you do make a point there...even if these are two sexual creatures there still should be some simmer before we get to the big bang! Its kind of like watching porn, I can't help but think "Wait, how do you go from giving the pizza boy a tip to banging him???" I need a lead up cause you know sex is sex and in of itself isnt that interesting without the tease to get there (geez, maybe I should watch some of that soft porn for women!" I am not talking candlelight and proclamations of love of my life crap....but some lead in. I think the best case of that in recent years was Phillip and Olivia on GL...when they were in a room together either fighting, slightly flirting or just eye f*cking each other, they were so hot that when they actually did the deed, it was like WOW, that is one of the hottest sex scenes I had seen on soaps, movies, tv, whatever.

I don't know how anyone couldn't think Block is goodlooking and hot! He also has that weird sense of humor that was sexy as hell, (yes, I know that Sheffer made it smarmy,...but Block I think can get away with that without making it seem skeevy.) Bryce, I think is cute, and his voice is very, very sexy, but he never did that much for me either way...(though I loved it back in the day when he and Diana were conspiring against poor dumb Betsy and greasy Steve back in the day.)Lingstrom, just seems "older," and more beat up then the other two..( for some reason I think his Craig smells like a dirty ashtray..)

I gotta say, Kovat always freaked me out, with his baby face, and his short, stout body and his semi mullet...when he finally banged the hot as hell Melanie version of Emily...it grossed me out more then thought it was exciting. I always thought that James was just really pissed his on was a midget more then anything else.

With that awful bleach blonde crew cut, and the constant pursed lips and smirking and sneering, I thought he looked like a Queer Eye makeover gone wrong. He looked much better on GL. The tired caricature and labored one-liners didn't help.

They bleached his hair????Truth be told I didn't watch his later run...I think the last time I watched was when he had that blond kid (the one who died later) who they would have only with skimpy shorts on shaved and plucked and oddly oiled up, poseing with fists on his hips, during conversations. On GL he kept the sneering and pursed lips down to a minmum. I LURRRVED Ben Warren and thought he and Chamberlin were smoking hot together. I thought he would have made a great villian in a Roger ish way, I dont know why they killed him off.

I think the bleach job was what they had when he started, in some attempt to show us he was Craig (never mind all the personality rewrites -- at least he had blonde hair).

I don't know why GL killed him either. It never made sense to me. That was the only pairing I ever liked Beth Chamberlin in, and I liked his relationship with Drew as well.

As for Paul and Emily, I think they kind of wanted viewers to see them as boy and woman, and to find the relationship inappropriate.

Honestly, there's not much to comment about on Thursday's show.

Janet's still a big, fat hypocrite wrapped in a nice shiny red wig. Dusty's still a thug that acts like every woman on Earth should be bowing down to his bedroom expertise. Sage is still a ten year old with extremely juvenille ideas about getting "Mommy & Daddy" back together. And Mick is still a dark, creepy mystery man that we know nothing about.

I found it kind of pleasant how Alison called Barbara out on sounding like a jealous lover. Hell, James could kill all of Oakdale, including Bob & Kim, and Barbara would make an excuse for him. We're not even sure Mick IS James, but the possibility's already got Babs worked up like a lovesick teenager. *roll of eyes*

I love Emily when she's been investigative. Here's a thought: team Molly and Emily up. One's a print journalist, the other's a broadcast journalist. They both have had the pleasure of being reffered to as the town slut, they both have kids that are ashamed of them, they both have trouble holding on to men, and they both have a knack for being extremely b!tchy when times call for it. Why are these two not BFF's??

Peej, I'm not sure what you did, but I literally (yes....out loud) squealed (I know...how 4th grade is that?) when Carly told Jack "that's not the addiction I'm talking about", obviously insinuating that she has an addiction to Jack. (And P.S.-How long has it been since we heard the name G-Man? I haven't heard Carly call him that in AGES!!)

Dusty---I think you meant Thursday's eppy.

I thought Friday's eppy was good--cute in an adorable kind of way, showing the Carjack family hijinks. Yeah, I could have done without Jan/Dusty/Craig, but even I could enjoy yet another pathetic attempt by Craig to weasel into Carly's life, and Jan's self-serving "movin' on out" with Dusty's help, and offering up another round of sex to thank him.

Carly and Jack's adorableness overrode my normal dislike of the campier aspects. 'Cause it is so Carly to decide to go medieval on some snooty pagaent mom's ass after insulting Sage.... and then Jack needing to calm her down. That's the good Carjack I remember.

Janet is supposed to represent million of religious devotees who just follow the rules without considering the logic, purpose or value of those directives. I'd love to see her in a room with Luke. I can see her telling him all about how the Pope thinks gay sex is wrong. I'd like seeing Luke's reaction. Maybe the writers are trying to make people like Janet question the status quo? This or maybe they are just trying to somehow put the topic of religion back on the canvas. I notice that little church that they have built. Also, Allison keeps having those church dreams. This all might have worked better back in 2004.

Janet doesn't have a problem with Luke and Noah. They briefly lived at the farm together (right after she became Jack's booty call) and she was encouraging them to "ignore" Emma's "no shacking up" rule (which is suppose to cover ALL nonmarried couples but somehow didn't cover Jack and Janet) and go at it.

Janet is more of the "do as I say, not as I do" "religious" person on the show. The problem I have with Jan is not as much her divergent views from the church (like getting Libs birth control but insisting she not have an abortion...) but the sudden way she's "religious" and pushing the views she believes in on others, shouting down their beliefs with her "religion".
