*The "Laura Wright Makes Me Want to Watch GH" Appreciation Thread!*

I have a VERY good feeling that she'll finally be nominated for an Emmy next year. Her work on GH has been phenominal and deserves to be nominated. She said in an interview with SOD that she would have submitted herself for her work on GL, but thought it wouldn't be fair since she is no longer on the show.

I think that's probably a good idea to not submit GL stuff while she is on another show.

I hope she gets nominated. I love her and think she's amazing. Now, Lead or Supporting?

If she submitted her stuff for GL, I doubt she would've been nominated. For years she was snubbed for great work on that soap (especially 2004). I'm glad she's finally getting praise now that she's on the overrated ABC soap, but I'm really not a fan of her here.

Still, she is my favorite actress from GL! Nicole Forrester eat your heart out. And she is so gorgeous!

Lead. Laura's been lead since she joined GH. And Carly is a LEAD role.

You're right....I gotta remember to break that stereotype I have where Lead means Older and Seasoned...lol - Kelly Monaco helped break that for me this year. If Sam McCall is a lead, then Carly sure as heck is.

Eh, the Sam character was supporting up until Tamara Braun left. Once she did, Sam's character was written as a lead (though I love Sam, sometimes it appears as forced).

Back to Laura, lol.

Laura effortlessly took control of Carly and made the role her own. I've noticed she copies some of the mannerisms that Sarah and Tamara did, but even then she's turned that into her own. I really hope that she's nominated next year. She really deserves it. And she'll have so much to choose from. Comedy, Dramatic, Sexual, Wholesome, Vulnerable, Bitchy, Vindictive, etc.....

IMO I've never saw Sam as a lead character. Alexis-yes definitely, but not Sam

Anyways Laura is so great, I saw her on GL, but I think she's so amazing on GH :)

Okay I watched Mondays episode, my first full one in a LONG time and I thought Laura was much better! I guess it was the fact that she wasn't in scenes with Maurice Benard, he drags everyone down. But the episode was good enough so I'm going to stick around, at least for the three weeks Emma Samms will be here.

I LOVE LOVE her Carly and the more I see her the more I LOVE her. I have to admit too that the writing for Carly has improved TREMENDOUSLY.

Now that I'm watching regularly, I can say that she has MUCH better chemistry with the kids and Durant than Tamara Braun/Carl Lee. Haven't seen enough with Bobbie to decide there.

Signing in once again to spread the love for the wonderful woman that is Laura Sisk-Wright. I'm really enjoying her performance with Ingo Rademacher. Those two have really good chemistry, I'm just angry that Carly decided to go along with Jax's lie. We all know that everyone is going to blame her instead of Jax.

I want her on OLTL or back on GL.

This is a Cassie as Carly on GH appreciation thread. Either stick to the topic (the reason for the Love/Hate thread) or don't bother posting.

Thanks for the help Andre, lol, but that poster has been banned for weeks now.

That explains a lot. Funny, I used to be a mod here at SON, and sometimes it is hard to shake the habit of !@#$%^&*]-slapping posters.
