December 14, 200916 yr Member According to Soap Opera Digest and Soap Opera Weekly. ABC had announced that Lorraine Broderick has not taken over the job as headwriter of All My Children. She is part of the writing team as an associate headwriter. They have not announcement to make to the headwriting position.
December 15, 200916 yr Member Dissapointing.. but I'm still glad she's part of the team. For those with better knowledge, is an 'associate writer' right below a HW in rank?
December 15, 200916 yr Member Let me guess, ATWTFan is another person who blames AMC for ATWT being canceled?
December 15, 200916 yr Member Actually, Agnes is headwriting but Lorraine was brought on because Agnes doesn't know MS Word very well so she's dictating to Lorraine just like the old days when Lorraine started out as her secretary.
December 15, 200916 yr Member Well I had a feeling Agnes was once again doing her uncredited ghost writing thing--I think she started earlier than this, actually, cuz the other day there were one or two lines of dialogue that I think Angie said, that were so good and I instantly thought "aha! Agnes is back!" Of course the rest of the episode sucked, but that was all Pratt's hack work, naturally. Edited December 15, 200916 yr by EricMontreal22
December 15, 200916 yr Member Eric, I think you're right. It was when Erica said "Do you know who I am?" to the attendant at the hotel. Vintage Agnes! That hack couldn't have written that moment!
December 15, 200916 yr Member No, actually Agnes definitely is the headwriter. According to the NY Times arts and leisure weekend website she is the "creator and headwriter." So if the NY Times says it, it must be true. http://artsandleisureweekend.com/
December 15, 200916 yr Member Thanks. And Jennifer Lopez dumped Ben Affleck. WHAT? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! ;-)

He got tired of being blamed for Agnes' crappy writing this past year and walked out on his contract! Mystery solved! Thank you NY Times! Crack reporting there, I tell ya!

She isn't dictating dialogue to Lorraine. Where do you people get this stuff??? Site your sources if you know this for fact.
