Members Paul Raven
Just FYI,AMC will begin in Australia in mid Jan. Apparently, the show will be about 2 years behind. AMC has been shown before there in the 80's and 90's for short periods.

Members Cheap21
LOL...that was right around the time I dropped the show...actually just a few months before
Members EricMontreal22
Ugh the tail end of McTavish's era when it didn't even seem liek McTavish was writing the show, lol. I admit I kinda liked some of the Zarf/Zoe stuff (that was then wasn't it?) though I know many on here didn't. Paul R, where in Aussie will it be airing? Members All My Shadows
Zarf was 2006-2007, so they're past that period.
Members EricMontreal22
But wasn't he red herring'ed (is that a term?) as the Satin Slayer?
Members y&r_fan
I don't understand why they can't show more up-to-date episodes. It can't be a legal thing because B&B is only 3 months behind. But I suppose I'll attempt to get into it.
Members All My Shadows
Satin Slayer was 2006-2007 as well. Two years ago was 2007-2008, which was when Frankie was "Quentin" and Angie/Jesse were only a few months from returning.
Members Cheap21
oh just when it was about to get good, at least for a few months.
Members EricMontreal22
HAH Very very briefly--so when B/E were writing it?
Members Cheap21
I thought the Angie/Jesse stuff was must see tv and they kinda peaked at their weddding and sizzled down by the summer. So about 4-5 months of some good stuff. Unforutnetatly this also was filled with Ryan's amnesia and Greenlee obsessing over him which was horrible. I think the only other thing I can remember was Ritchie plotting to win over Babe and bring down JR
Members EricMontreal22
Agreed--and yeah that was pretty much it--I thought Ritchie had potential it was just sooo poorly executed

Members Ben
That's interesting. I wonder why they picked AMC? And why are they airing Corrie so far behind? I had forgotten about their newly launched Freeview service. They also gonna be airing Passions (either reruns or never-before-seen-episodes on Oz TV). Members Chris B
Wow, so the return of Passions AND AMC is coming? I bet the producers will be trying to get international sales more and more now. We recently got GH in the UK which was a success (but the channel rebranded and cut it). Y&R, GL, DAYS and I *think* B&B are airing in the UK for two years now. GL and ATWT are going to begin airing in China soon. And in Australia you have Passions, AMC, Y&R and B&B (which is huuuuuuuuge). I also am wondering why they chose AMC though. Maybe because it's lighter and brighter they think it'll steal some of B&B's audience? It seems like General Hospital would be the smartest choice. Honestly, not knowing the history of the show, it IS very good to a new viewer. I recall my UK friends raving about it and loving the mob. It also has the best day-to-day writing.
