Ice Dancing has always been my favourite discipline in figure skating.

This is one of my all-time favourite programs, Gwendal Peizerat and Marina Anissina dancing to The Man in the Iron Mask. It still gives me chills. So beautiful.

Remembering the 1961 United States World Figure Skating Team. On February 15, 1961, a tragic plane crash killed all the members of the U.S. Figure Skating Team. Also, friends, family, judges, officials, and coaches were killed. The skaters were traveling to the World Championships in Prague, Czechoslovakia.

As if I didn't already miss Scott Hamilton as a figure skating commentator, we're stuck with Johnny Weir. He makes me miss Scott all that much more!!

I've always thought he was overhyped and he underdelivered as a skater. His Russian propaganda also made me wary. I wonder if he is seething inside over all the attention Adam Rippon has received.

I saw this mentioned in an article a few days ago. I'd never seen it, but it truly is beautiful.

Scott Hamilton IS there, and he has been asked about the men in the singles competition on the 34th anniversary of his own win in Sarajevo. I could listen to Scott all day.

All Nathan Chen had to do was skate onto the ice, stay upright, and do one or two quads to win (he did 6) all the other men fell. :o

Was it the same competitors from the Olympics? Wish he'd done that at the Olympics.
