I think GV got unfairly judged. He has never been given the kind of material and writing JJ got ever. Yeah his Lucky was differnt but had they written well for him he could have been great. As far as JJ being a better actor, I've seen TC since he's returned and it proves to me actors forget how to act or they don't necessarily put forth the effort all the time because he's no where near what he was back in the 90's plus he sleeps in half his scenes. SBu is no great shakes either nor is MB. Both are lazy. I'll complement the ladies on GH who I think act or try to act their tails off all the time because they have to. The men get renewed contracts for basically phoning it in. How TG has lasted as long as he has is proof of that. I'd have take Genie Francis over him anytime who shines anytime she's back on screen. She made TG 1000 percent better than he actually is IMO. She and NLG are about the only actresses I can stand him with anymore and that includes Jane Elliott who is wasted on him.

She was asked who she thought she had the most chem with and she said JJ's Lucky. Greg was there, she went on to say her and Greg have chem but they had to work at it and with her and JJ something just clicked.

I'm curious to see if their chemistry is still there. So often it's hard to duplicate that initial chemistry.

I say that because it was JJ's Lucky who used to sit outside Liz's window at night until she fell asleep after she was raped back in 1998. Or am I mistaken? If anything, it would be wise to keep Lucky as a cop and a caring father and build him up to a more leading role instead of a joke.

According to GH, being a father to children who are not yours means you are a loser. So does being a cop.

Unless GH sees their special superstar JJ as deserving of loser material, then they have to make him dump the kids and stop being a cop.

I'm ok with that part of it, but dumping the kids would be so low. It seems more likely that they'll just sort of disappear into the background the way so many soap kids do.

I'm sure that will happen, but I think this just reinforces GH's cowardice and hypocrisy. They set up very clear guidelines for Lucky. Him wanting anything to do with Liz's children by other men made him a loser. His entire life was a lie, a con. Luke couldn't stand him, because he couldn't stand being married to domestic Laura. He needed to be free, whoring it up with other women.

Everything of the golly gee "Cowboy" days was pure misery for Luke, and that suffocating existence led Lucky to become a waste of a man.

Yet, because JJ is back, now it's all happy time again for Luke/Lucky and suddenly his entire life wasn't a laughable delusion and Luke never secretly resented or hated him?

Yeah I'm sure lots wouldn't make sense again with JJ in the role while I curtrently don't watch I know ebough to know they wrongfully deemed Lucky more of a supporting character with Vaughn in the role they will try to shift again with JJ in tthe role. This is the reason I skipped out. Who-ever is writing this show clearly have biases in the actors and not the characters where as many other shows it is the opposite

The jake situation was a mess from start to finish, but Cameron? For Lucky to drop out of his life now would make him look awful IMHO.

I wouldn't say it either, but GH did say it. So now that their golden boy is back, they should follow through with what they believe makes a man.

JaneAusten, ITA. I will never understand why being able to act is only a big deal when it comes to GV. MB, BA, TC and SBu are bad actors and yet they get tons of story and airtime. Limited acting ability does not justify GV's Lucky not getting decent stories and the character being treated like a punching bag by Guza and Geary. Look at Rick Hearst, he3 was better than all of them and Rick was treated like a joke. Jason Thompson who is a stronger actor or at least tries harder than those four barely gets any story. It is the female actresses on GH who are its strengths and except for Carly and the pet of the moment, Olivia, the rest of them get shoved aside.

When TC came back, people predicted all sorts of great things for Nikolas. Nikolas is now played by a bloated actor who looks bored most of the time. I think that it will be different with JJ, but we'll see. Also, there is another photo that shows Luke from behind grinning at Lucky and Liz in that scenes. Geary is such a sh!t head. He has been treating GV's Lucky like dirt and with disdain for years. Now that JJ is back Geary is all smiles. I bet that Geary is full of energy in their scenes.

I would have to see a better picture of BH to make a judgment on if she got work on her eyes. She did go on vacation recently so that is possible.
