AMC: The end of the Grief????

Every time a hair model is fired, a blogger gets his wings. The All My Children casting bloodbath continues. Brianne Moncrief, who portrays youngest Chandler heiress Colby, has been given her walking papers, according to setside sources.

"The All My Children actors are pretty pissed off at [brian] Frons. All that talk about everyone on contract being offered a relocation deal was total b.s.," says a source. "They are using this move as a way to clean house!"

Ain't that a caution? Now just who are the gang from the Pine Valley Podcast gonna make fun of now? Oh wait, Denise Vasi is still employed. Here's hoping Fronsie has the horse sense to snag Guiding Light cutie Marcy Rylan as Colby. Rylan was BORN to play Kelly Ripa's baby sister!

THANK GOD.

My bet is on some dumb character as Aidan...

I hope they recast Colby with a better actress. However, with Petey gone (?), what's the point of Colby being the only teen in Pine Valley?

Aidan is so going to be Stuart's killer, even though we saw him outside the gate when the shot was fired, but Pratt has shown he doesn't give a crap about stuff like that if he wants to make a character do something, he'll rewrite what he has already written.

I hate to wish anyone fired, but BM was not a good Colby

Marcy Rylan would be great as a Chandler, although something tells me the Chandlers will be no more even if AMC survives. Adam is on borrowed time, so we're left with perennial loser JR and whitebread Scott, who could disappear tomorrow and I wouldn't notice.

Pratt will probably just write out Colby. He has never written for her, and while I'd like to think that's because he recognized BM couldn't act, Pratt's resume suggests that acting ability means very little to him.

Marcy Rylan's Colby would be the Colby that Colby should have been since day one.

I can see Aiden as the killer too after all Pratt with Guza re-write Alexis as Luis's killer on GH when Alexis saw Luis's body fall from the balcony over her car <_<

Getting Marcy would be a casting coup. However I would hope Pratt would write for Colby and Petey, instead of providing them window dressing.

Marcy Rylan as Colby would be something straight out of Dynasty for the new mellin IMHO!

Please, soap gods, make it happen!

AMC Exodus Continues

Hot on the heels of the news that Aiden Turner (Aidan) and Beth Ehlers (Taylor) will be leaving their respective roles, ABC confirms to Soap Opera Digest that Brianne Moncrief (Colby) is also exiting. The network says that her last airdate has not yet been determined and had no comment on whether it planned to recast.
