Members chrisml
I know most everyone hates Ellen Weston, but I think Ellen Weston could have worked with a producer who had a history with the show and/or sensitivity to character-based storylines. The Maryanne story had some intriguing episodes even if the story was absurd and an insult to GL history. Weston was at least trying to tell an umbrella story that included these actors and she wanted to give them something meaty to do. I'm not disputing that it made it no sense. I was never grabbed by anything in Wheeler's tenure. From what little I watched, it was an odd mixture of tawdry, mean-spirited, and moralistic.
Members Contessa Donatella
For example??? And, about Ellen Weston, from me all there is or ever could be is a HARD PASS. She didn't even know how to be interviewed as a writer. You simply do not rewrite the backstories of 5 veteran male characters accusing them of no other than cold-blooded murder. And sock puppet? GMAB!!! Trying to tell story? In whose universe?! I'll give you mean-spirited, the death of Ben Reade? How much meaner could it have been?
