I actually like Michael Muhney WAY better than Chris Engen. Adam (unlike Patty) is still very redeemable in my eyes, and I hope that's what they do.

Steve Connolly.

Heh. Of course. Sorry. If he were a Carlton he'd be dead.

I don't think Adam is redeemable. He got a molester/rapist to examine Ashley and do who knows what to her for months. I can never forget that.

Nothing was as nasty as burning Ashley's unborn fetus in a fireplace.

For that alone, he'll never be redeemable in my eyes.

Both Ashley and Victor should hate him forever after this crap, even if Victor is his father.

I think the writing NOW gives the impression that they are decimating the Abbott family but IMO I get the impression that the Abbotts are about to undergo a big transformation.

They already have. The Abbotts are now Newmans (Ashley, Abby), or cling to the Chancellors/have insecure Chancellor women revolve around them (Billy).

Colleen's death being more about Billy than about her mother tells me who the real future of this "family" is.

Silk Stalkings and QAF legend Chris Potter goes on a rampage, as Victor brings Marc Mergeron to town to make Ashley pay. Marc accidentally guts Abby, but Jill slips on a nail file and is brain dead, and Abby gets her organs. The role of Abby is then recast with Elizabeth Ashley.

The Abbot decimation started when John married Gloria and the family became all about the Fishers and its been downhill from there. Now John's dead, Colleen's dead, Ashley is completely defined by Victor, Abby's a lost cause and Traci's about to be out. Its really only Jack and Billy at this point

I wouldn't count Billy either. He doesn't care about any of his family unless he can use them to hurt other people, or he needs to feel sorry for himself.

Nope, no mass suicide for the Abbotts..but I have been thinking the way things appear at the moment it would not be a bad idea to send care packages to the writers with enough paraphernalia for them to commit mass suicide in the near future!! But I do believe that there is going to be a shift in the Abbott dynamics...they are setting it up that way....it's a bit like bad chess LMAO!!

I had to look that up. Melinda Fall?

I think she'd be better than this girl. Hell, bring in Lisa Whelchel, she already played this role anyway, and was better at it. Or the one who played the snob on Punky Brewster.

Of course Billy is the future of the Abbotts. Do you really think a geriatric Bergman, Davidson and Maitland will be carrying the show 20 years from now? Doubt it.
