I find anything regarding Erica and Ryan DISGUSTING! No, not because of the age factor, but because she's flirting (as far as I've seen yet) with her grandson's father! It's one thing to be an older woman with a younger man -- it's another to be a woman who is with the father of her grandchild. This is a sick attempt at refusing to age Erica. I'm over it. Let the old bitch start referring to her grandchildren AS HER GRANDCHILDREN and age with grace and pride.

I think it may be more about trying to cash in on the "cougar" trend (which Morgan Fairchild just trashed in a recent interview, as she finds the word "cougar" demeaning -- good for her) and about using Erica to prop Ryan, who is so pathetic these days.

As little interest as I have in this story I find it more tolerable than Adam/Annie. At least Erica is not written as a pathetic old woman being manipulated by a crazy person who makes passes at her younger relatives.

I hate Ryan & Erica together! They have no chemistry and R Sinclair is right that it makes no sense for Erica to suddenly be interested in her grandson's father.

I was surprised by how much Opal was on again. Jill Larson always commands my attention and keeps my finger off the ff button.

How dumb were Tad & Taylor to just assume it was Opal and not look? I haven't been reading spoilers and I figured out Randi had him about halfway through this episode.

Angie confronting Jesse was good, but the story sucks so much that even Debbi Morgan's fierceness can't save it.

I was actually surprised that Randi ended up having the baby in the end. It almost came off as Randi was crazy - I wonder if they plan to go this route? She's so upset that she lost her baby, so she's going to keep Trevor at all costs?

Speaking of Trevor and this baby storyline - I can't even invest myself into it bc I still am so confused as to which baby is which!!! Is this 'Trevor' that is now kidnapped really Amanda's baby, or is Jake still lying to her and Liza still has Amanda/David's baby? Or is Jake lying to Liza (and has been the entire time...?) and Liza's baby is really some stranger kid? I'm soooo confused

Also - all the plot points in this storyline are so contrived and ridiculous (Joe/Opal scene...Opal's pulse going up when David says 'Jake/Amanda' and he catches on...this random homeless lady in Pine Valley suburbia...etc etc). I do like that Opal is heavily involved lately, and I do like how all the storylines are sorta connected somehow (Baby Mess ->Randi/Frankie ->North Case ->Stuart's murder).

Someone needs to explain this whole Baby Trevor situation to me. I only catch this show once in a blue moon and I normally can catch right up but I can't figure out why Tad and Taylor left the baby on the steps and why Opal was supposed to be the one to pick it up but didn't because she got stuck at the hospital with Joe and Randi took him instead.

She does kind of have Annie's hair! I liked the new wig the first day but it ain't wearin' well for me on day 2.

Otherwise, most of you have said it well already...

You get the idea....

I could hardly pay attention on Friday. Often things make so little sense it's like the characters might as well be speaking Latin because their words bear so little meaning. It's not just one story, its just about all of them right now.

Love Jill Larson's appearances.

Ryan and Erica can stay friends. Sexual tension anywhere near those two characters gives me the major heebies and I wasn't initially upset (wasn't thrilled either, IJS) about them being in each other's orbits. I think Cam and Lucci seem waaay more awkard than DC and MCE. I don't have a problem with age differences in couples, it's about the actors and their chemistry.

I agree, Carl. I also dislike Adam being portrayed as vunerable mentally to Annie, it may turn me off completely. I had hoped that Adam was playing Annie in order to find out who killed Stuart.

Finally, EricaKane70's got it down, Erica CAN do much much better than Ryan Lavery!

    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
