Phillip has been somewhat busy during the summer months doing a new webepisode series. The name of series called WORKSHOP and he has a co-leading role as Adam, one of the six characters who are LA actors and are struggling to get work. This series indeed reflect his real life situation of him being a struggling performer to get the right break he looking for.

The series starts August 10. Keep check on this facebook site for updates http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=83438961587

You can watch it on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/user/WORKSHOPtheseries if having trouble watching the videos from the facebook link.

Follow the series through twitter at http://twitter.com/WORKSHOPseries

The series look like a comedy and so expected to grab that popcorn and get ready to laugh. And also according to the series creator and he also had appeared on Passions as Man 2 in 2007 lol, Nate Golon said the cast had wrapped up season 1 so I am assuming there might be season 2 that depends on how well the series do online.

Nate also told me that Phillip's character Adam will be based on him played a fictional character on a soap opera as a hermaphrodite hehe. So dont missed it.

Hey hey now be nice to my boo.

But anyway show some love and checkout the series on August 10th. Poor Adam (character played by Phillip) wants to be Denzel Washington but instead is typecast as Vincent type of roles that what the creator told me about the character Phillip played.

Thanks for the update BWW. I'll try to remember to check it out.

He DIDmake it work and was pretty awesome in his role as Vincent. It's not like JER wrote something different than what showed up on screen and the actor failed in the role. It wasn't a thankless role at all - he drove a lot of the story and played humour, drama, action.

"Thankless" was probably the wrong word for it, you're right, Toups. I just meant it was a role that had everything going AGAINST it. (Psycho, sympathetic, gay, straight, male, female, seducing his own father) So the fact that he sold it at all is a miracle. I would venture to say that most Passions actors, if they were given that story, would have turned it into an epic train wreck.
