Members dm.
It's no mystery why they're overexposing Billy... they've heard us praising Miller's good acting skills and there he goes. Plus, he's a newbie so they don't have to pay him as much as the vets.
Members DRW50
I think it's because he's a shiny toy. They can ignore most of his history (aside from the Mac soulmate stuff) and make him into the whiny, self-righteous brat Hogan loves to pass off as a leading man. He did this with Dusty and Paul on ATWT. Totally rewrote them and shoved them at the front of the canvas when new actors were brought in to play the roles. Members MarkH
That continued baby kicking with Ashley is kind of creepy. I really, really want Adam to find her a baby. Enough sadness for now. On another note, Victor keeps claiming Ashley 'saved his life' in Paris. Huh? She found him on the streets of Paris, f*cked him, and then he was healed. That was, as near as I can tell, the extent of the therapy she offered. I have found no meaningful basis for the Victor-Ashley relationship this time around. ETA: And as loathsome as the Deacon writing as been, Kanan still gets me. I loved how he was working Vail Bloom, and she was kind of reciprocating with her body language. Members BadZoe
I actually want that Doctor to be lying to Adam and have Ashley give birth to a healthy baby.
Members DRW50
There seems to be no real basis for Victor and Ashley beyond "She's not Nikki" and "Let's pretend we're honoring history." I think this story was all planned out for Sabrina, and I know that is probably not true, but I just feel like this story would have made far more sense for her. Members BadZoe
"I can't tell if he's sitting on a Muffin of Rage", is the way I heard Phillip pronounce one of his lines on tomorrows show.

Members ian
I really, really like Billy. I like the character and can do with his overexposure, I think he makes it work *ducks* I also like Victor with Ashley, because, TRADITIONALLY Victor didn't bother to walk all over her. Now he treats her like an invalid, but at one time he had something for Ashley that he never had for Nikki, but that she desperately deserved: RESPECT. A strong Ashley that keeps Victor in his place and a Victor that's totally in awe of her and loves and respects her is the Vishley I envision... so I kind of like them for that reason (even if they aren't like that now) and at least appreciate that Nikki isn't getting treated like sh!t by Victor, or, when they are married and aren't at each other's throats... treated like a piece of furniture. Members MarkH
IMO, you all need to lay off this. First, I don't hear this. (But I'm not the best hearing-abled person ). I hear a Wisconsin accent and a delivery that often reminds me of Beau Kazer's. Second, if this is true, it clearly relates to some physical issue in speech production. So, then, just like Jack's secretary Carol used to have an inescapable link, or Hope was pretty much unable to see...so too, this is just a part of Bierdz/P3. Look at Michael Zaslow and Colleen Zenk-Pinter. Their speech issues belied something deeper. So it likely is with Bierdz. Thus, I feel this is is something not to pick on. (There is plenty in the writing and performance to pick on). Third, y'all need to TURN ON THE CAPTIONS!! I've had to do so for years ('cause of my hearing), but lo-and-behold, I could suddenly understand what Victor Newman was saying!! It works wonders. I encourage you all to do the same...suddenly Bierdz and Braeden won't bother you at all!
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Hearing Bierdz recite his lines sometimes makes me wish I wasn't hearing-abled.
Members Rhiannon
I think the chin implant has caused his speech issues, maybe something happened during the procedure he had to have it inserted. It kinda seems like it pulled his mouth area down somewhat and changed his speech pattern. My Mom has to use CC due to hearing issues and I've come to appreciate them too when there are people on TV I have a hard time understanding. The only time the CC annoys me is when they have tributes to the departed on award shows and etc., when they show clips of the movies, TV shows and etc. that have speaking parts the captioning kicks in and blocks the names shown. Members rhythmchyc
I totally forgot to ask last week: Did Mac and Billy do the dirty deed at that damn trailer last week? Did they finally consumate their relationship and all we saw was them make out on the couch for two seconds? After like ten years of them being apart and finally being able to do something they'd probably been thinking about since high school our pay off is three seconds on a couch in a trailer and utterly NO skin?!??!?! Bullocks.
Members Paul Raven
Boy,am I getting tired of Crimson Lights! it's ridiculous to see Paul,Michael and Heather doing business there. The issue of sets is another factor affecting the pacing and flow. When was the last major new set introduced? Why not a generic office set that could be redressed to be Paul's office and Michael's?It could have a door either side. Each one could be used as an entrance to differentiate the two. Nikki looked godawful this week. It seems there is no long term story planning. The whole Mary Jane story, with Victor paying for surgery and planting her with Jack completely fizzled. The half baked gaslighting story. Daniel art scam. The Jeff/Gloria/Jill story.Jill had major stuff coming up with Phillip's return. There was no point to her losing her money. It just filled in a few weeks. Such a contrast to the Katherine Marge story which went for months and lead somewhere. Where are Noah,Eden,Abby,Lauren?
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Sadly, the Katherine/Marge story was the only story from this regime that seemed to have any legs and any long-term purpose, and even that was botched towards the end and led directly into this Chipmunk crap. While that storyline was going on, it also disguised a lot of the shortcoming of this incompetent writing regime too. I mean, Jeanne Cooper, an 80 year old, finally had a lead story after years, the story was paced relatively slowly, ratings went up for a short time, and a host of characters were invovled in just that one storyline. It took the emphasis off of the other underdeveloped, poorly paced, and just bad storytelling that was going on at the time, IMO. Unfortunately, this type of attention wasn't given to other stories and the problems this writing regime had got worse to the point where the show is now an utter disaster and where this writing regime needs to be fired.
