Soapydoc is right on the mark.

Everything is too rushed. They're trying to do a big triangle story like Doug/Julie/others on DOOL,Steve/Alice/Rachel on AW etc except those stories played on for years. The current Nick/Sharon/Phyllis stuff has all happened in about 6 months.

There has not been enough involvement by Victor.Nikki,Victoria,Noah etc where characters explain their motivations and are argued with or supported.

Traci should be around as a confidante to Jack.

Every character should have at least one friend to talk to,like the old days!

They had a few good scenes between Michael and Lauren and Phyllis where they were pretty honest with her about her issues with Nick and Sharon but this was in April and then one scene between Phyllis and Michael in June, but since Michael and Lauren aren't used much anymore and they are the only ones Phyllis might actually listen to, they weren't invited to this incredibly quick wedding redo. As for Nick he just gets a pass from everyone except Noah and a rare Michael scene.

Seems like Jack may finally be waking up from his Sharon stupor.

The speed of this triangle is what is so different with how they are writing Phick and Shick. It is obviously the story they consider their bread and butter, but because of the speed of Nick's flip flopping, it has seriously hurt all three characters. I think unless you are major fans of the couple, most are just sick of these characters and this story. They need to be rested until November when Sharon is probably going to deliver her baby for sweeps in her SORASed pregnancy.
