Does anyone think this whole board story is beneath Victor? I have no illusions about Victor's moral code but I seriously doubt he would spend his time making a young woman get drunk and humiliating her in public. I also don't believe he would ever use incompetent and nasty people like Gloria and Jeffrey to do his work for him. This whole storyline is somewhat seedy, and feels like a desperate ending to something they lost interest in long ago. I'm surprised Eric Braeden didn't complain.

Or how the mansion has the loosest security where a psycho with a dead cat stayed in the potting shed and his baby-killer son traipsed around the grounds without a disguise or even a dark hoody?

Or letting his baby-killer son introduce his pregnant gf to a random harvard doctor without even checking the doc's history out or ignoring the doctor all-together and flying in a top-notch specialist like he always does?

Or still allowing Heather in the house after she helped to repeatedly ruin him, his reputation, and his family?

He's acting more and more like Nicholas Newman these days.

Maybe he's not saying anything because he's scared shitless of losing his job too and we assume he wouldn't take their crap when the time comes by the end of the year because he is EB. He's a pussycat inside lol.

Oh goodness, it looks just HORRIBLE when you lay out all the holes like that. <shakes head, sadly>

That's what happens when you hire your son-in-law.

Neil's guns.

Oh wow, Cane's that broke he can't stay at a hotel, huh? And he got over his fear of Billy finding out the truth about him staying in the trailor right quick.

Whoa, I can't believe Heinle's that pregnant? She's showing a lot already.

Aww poor lonely broke no-insurance with 5 kids on food stamps and a baby daddy that don't pay his alimony cancer-ridden Lily. What oh what will she do without a great husband and a baby on her way like Ashley and Olivia. They were sooooo lucky.

But Amber/Deacon were made for one another. This s/l is really beneath them. They are so damn lucky they have great actors on this show. Sooooo lucky.

OMG OMG OMG.

From the preview for tomorrow:

"Are you aware Adam Wilson's left the premises?"

lol-045.gif

Er Duh.

Maybe Detective Gil should've asked:

"Are you aware that your children are either douches, wet blankets/shadows of their former selves, or borderline psychopaths? Although I'm not a psychologist. You should contact one."

I had to laugh at that shirt, all day today. What every father-of-a-barren-young-ovarian-cancer-patient will be wearing this fall. I wonder if he was hoping to pick up a hot nurse? LOL!

Jill wanting Cane in her will doesn't mean she forgaves Cane and has forgotten what she did. She's being a mother, at the end of the day no matter how mad she is at Cane and feels betrayed, she still loves him. At the end of the day, Jill couldn't just act like he didnt exist, those scenes were to show that Jill still loves Cane despite everything. You notice that she didnt go after him, didnt tell him how she felt. She is still willing to let him walk out her life so no she hasn't forgotten or forgiven what he did.

But she hasnt forgotten how much he loved her and she loved him as well. No mother would.

I thought it was touching and like I said earlier, shows that being family isnt only about blood but love. Deep down in her heart, Jill still feels like Cane is her son and he acted like it. Acted more like her child these last couple yrs then her own children! You just dont forget that. I can be mad at my family but at the end of the day, I will stick up for them against anyone even when I'm pissed at them lol.

Glad to see CK getting props, I think she has been great in this sl and hitting all the right notes. And DG has been stellar since the Cane imposter reveal. Actually everyone in the cancer sl has impressed me so far imo. CF still needs to improve but I am getting used to her. Again not getting this Cane propping business, ita with Mark on that. Cane is still being punched left and right and ostracized, its Philip whose getting off lightly even though he came up with this plaaan. Nina was mad at him for all of two secs. His son couldn't even muster up any outrage or even shock at his presence.

Even SK/Deacon cant save this art mess of a sl. He returned to daytime to get thrown under the bus. Then again he should be used to that after being on GH.

Neil's shirt is miles ahead better than that Sandra Dee day-glo, tie-strap shirt.

Lily must feel instantly more energized by just looking at Colleen's top. I'm sure it provides her the daily requirement of Vitamin D that she's now lacking.

I get that Jill would want to continue to be Cane's mom but she has no money since that Caribbean bank going down the drain lame-ass plot-point and she doesn't have anything left except her half of the mansion. Why would she leave that to an imposter? That doesn't make sense to me. To hug and care for him after time has passed maybe, but not cold hard property value. Especially when he was never about the money in the first place.

I do see the Cane propping, but not in the way you mean. Cane was a shallow, useless, boring character before who was hard to sympathize for because he was so bland. Now he has been beaten upon and lost all that's dear to him in a valid way. TPTB want us cynics to like him now. That's Cane propping in the truest sense.

I do have to applaud them for it, unlike those who hate it because at least it shows that they are capable of breaking down a really dull self-righteous waste of space and making them into a soap opera character. They need to use this method on all of characters. There really isn't anyone on Y&R anymore (perhaps except for Nina and Kay) who aren't mercilessly plotted upon.

This is a guy who just gets better and better with age. All those tats also don't fit with Neil's stuffed shirt image. But I still like 'em. He's gonna give Shemar a run for his money, if Shemar ever returns....

watching right now and LOL at Deacon calling Amber April. B&B fans will get that one

I did. Loved it too.

Works for me. Gets him away from Tyra. Where's Sheila these days?

Today's episode was embarrassingly bad. Who didn't laugh at those special agents, especially when they broke the wall to get that 99 cents painting/sketch?

God, could this art story and the Scobbies get any worse? It seems like they rush through other stories, but the ones that really suck the most, they drag them the hell out.

Do they really need to have Deacon forcing sex on Amber? On this show that hates women so much? Who is really surprised by these sh!tty/offensive story decisions?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I'm not understanding the Gilda ending. I got that Cane and Lily watched classic movies. That was a nice tip of the hat to previous scenes.

But presumably what was happening in Gilda was supposed to mirror what we were watching.

Part of the problem is that I don't know the Gilda story. But here is the dialogue from the film:

Gilda: All my clothes are here, even my perfume. You think of everything, don't you, Johnny?

Johnny: Everything.

Gilda: We're right back where we started, aren't we, darling? Right back where--

Johnny: Right back where we started. She still didn't believe I wasn't coming back. Every night, she got all dressed up and waited. A girl like Gilda couldn't stand not knowing the "Why" of things, so she decided to swallow her pride and come to see me. That was wonderful.

Gilda: Hello, remember me? I'm Gilda, your wife, remember? You haven't been around lately. I thought maybe you were an amnesia victim or something.

Gilda: This vacuum I'm living in...

Gilda: Mind giving me a reason?

Johnny: Not at all. You've had such a full life up till now, I thought a little peace and quiet would do you good.

Gilda: (Crying) Oh, Johnny, please let me go. Please let me go. (Sobs) I can't stand it anymore. I don't want anything from you, but please, just let me go. (Sobbing)

How does all this relate to what is going on with the couple????
