I noticed on today's ATWT credits that Trent Jones name is no longer listed. Chris Whitesell and Leah Laiman are still there along with all the rest.

I wonder if they are making room for Hogan Sheffer's return?

OLTL: Theresa Anna Cascio wasn't listed in the credits today.

Noticed that as well. Too much to hope she's busy taking notes on AMC to take over as HW again? I know its not the case but I wish. I miss Lysistrata, Kenny Adler& Simone, Reggie, Janelle, Lena, and the contemporary feel AC brought to AMC.

Wow, Trent Jones is gone already? So who are the breakdown writers now? I forget. :)

Chris Whitesell, Leah Laiman, Lisa Connor, Charlotte Gibson, Paula Cwikly

I cannot believe they let Jones get away...and so quickly!

Whitesell, Laiman, Connor, Cwikly...the show can get rid of them. Gibson, entirely not familar with her work.

Random but interesting: AMC and GH recently ditched the writers' room in favor of teleconferencing (OLTL did so last year already). Now ATWT and GL are the only soaps still doing the traditional writers' room thing. This came up when I was talking to a pal and I mentioned the possibility of Nancy Curlee returning to GL post-MADD. She said no, because she and Stephen live in Virginia now (and ABC allowing their BDWs to live wherever they want now is what enabled Stephen to join AMC in the first place)

She also told me that Demorest and Guza hate each other...bad!!! I want to get some followup on that. But it makes sense. Things must've been really bad at GH to make Eleanor Labine and Demorest flee from GH and jump to AW...which was on death's door by then.

It's a shame about Cascio. I'd like to see her return to AMC when McTavish goes.

LOL, wow, looking at the SW/D forum and Josh Griffith sure does monopolize the writing! LOL! One month he wrote something like nine scripts and the rest were lucky to get two.

ATWT should've gotten rid of Whitesell or Laiman to make room for Sheffer.

Oh....that's interesting about Demorest/Guza. Wonder what happened. LOL at them jumping to AW. Things did go downhill for GH in 1999 with no Demorest though.

Thanks for the tibit, Britney. LOL

It's a shame about Cascio. I'd like to see her return to AMC when McTavish goes.

I've been predicting a BDW would get the axe since Chris Van Effen being listed for multiple episodes (though he wasn't listed today).

No surprise there. Griffith is the best SW ATWT has from what people have been saying.

I cannot believe they let Jones get away...and so quickly!

Scott Sickles wrote today's OLTL script. Apparently, he's a playwright and Patricia O'Connell (Mrs. Bigelow) was in a play of his.

And it looks like B&E are gone because Nipkow has been script editor for over 2 weeks now.

Trent Jones is ATWT's loss. A shame.

Hopefully B&E were tossed out on their behinds. Although another new SW for OLTL? Do they ever stop hiring?

Yeah hopefully they're gone.

Nope. This is Dena Higley, a person who hires a billion script writers. :P

Again, the answer is no. LOL Karen Briner was listed as a breakdown writer today. The Higley trend continues.
