Nelson's LIE about CE created a totally false impression of what this Rafe & Adam story would be. Than Maria goes and SPINS and LIES and promises a gay story that will be like the straight stories. I posted on another thread that if they were going to do the surprise gay story with Adam it should have been Adam & Jack. That would have been completely organic because of the white-hot chemistry between PB & CE, Adam's man-crush on Jack, and Jack, being sick of Sharon & her crap, being open for experimentation and a desire to [!@#$%^&*] with Victor by [!@#$%^&*] his son. It's no more crazy than Straight Adam tricking fluffy-headed Rafe. I also think that if CE was indeed squeamish (and who knows the truth because Nelson is a PROVEN LIAR), sharing such a story with PB would have gone a long way to getting him on board. Nothing in the soap world that was or will be could possibly be as hot, mind-bending, twisted and awesome as Victor walking in an Jack & Adam screwing.

Honestly, for Mark's sake and the other Ram fanbois, I hope you get a sexy romance between Rafe & Adam but I am just not feeling MM as Adam at all. He just comes off as a straight guy playing a straight soap character who is pretending to be gay. I can't suspend my disbelief at all. That's just me though. If it works for some you, I am glad it works for someone!

Wow. Jack & Adam? Actually makes characterful sense! I was about to suggest Billy & Jack as I thought that Miller and Bergman's chemistry has been explosive... and then I remembered that they are bros. Plus, I don't think Bergman would be psyched about a gay love SL. He would argue -- with some cause -- that Jack has always been about the ladies. Plus JahhhkAbbot is probably too square, too "country club," to risk dipping his toe in the men-only pool.

I think he should play out his 6 month contract. We can better judge him at the end of that...and that is the better time to decide if he should be renewed. Is there still story? Has he improved?

There was no need to mess with his death, which in itself, drove storyline on this show for years. Now that's all un-done thanks for this stupid rewrite. Everything the initial storyline drove is now false and doesn't ring true. This is why I hate unnecessary rewrites - they prove nothing. It wasn't necessary to bring Phillip III back from the dead at all.

The sooner Bierdz and Phillip III are gone and rarely mentioned again, the better for me.

Phillip is an essential part of the feud between Kay & Jill. I'm okay with TB staying on the show and being integrated. He can be a talk-to for Cane and Phillip IV and he can be the token gay character who never gets to make out but always goes in for deep meaningful hugs.
