I too was glad when Chloe threw the ring at him and I hope she is done with him for good. Chloe is definitely flawed but she knows it and is trying to do better for herself for Delia. How is this not impacting her health? She should be deathly ill and suffering a massive infection right now. This crappy storyline makes no sense. That implies that she had (this is possible) a complete purging of the fetal material, and she does not need a D&C. Needless to say, prior to the modern era, most miscarriages were purged this way. And, yes, there was a higher rate of infection. But it is nothing like 100%. Most women naturally shed this material. I think we're supposed to believe that is what happened with the bloody towel.
