I love you too R! And yeah.... Brianne OR Denise couldn't emote if they had a gun held to their head. Its really painful to watch. They are just BAD, BAD actors. Brianne should get out and go to university to get a career she is good at. I mean.... I don't blame her. Its TPTB that seem to find something redeeming about her portrayal. The whole time I just kept thinking about Ambyr Childs..... she was no emmy winner..... but she at least could hold her own in a scene.

The non reaction to Stuart's death (eye dropper tears do not count)....

And YES Luner did try. I actually thought she was very good in those scenes.... and also probably thinking who the hell is this girl and what is she doing here..... Luner seems to be mouthy and kind of crass..... Pratt loves her.... maybe she will request she be fired if she is going to be working with her... I mean AWFUL thing.... but I'd actually secretly LOVE Luner if she were to do that.

Lunar seems like a decent actress. I could tell she was trying in those scenes as well, and I also agree - you could almost tell she was thinking in her head (re: Moncrief), "Damn, this chick SUCKS!".

I just have a hard time thinking of her as Liza... but that's obviously no fault of the actress.

It works better to think of her as a totally new character.

Ok, I have to say this...

Love Jamie Luner. Love her acting. Love her body. Love her.

But she's not Liza.

Today, during her scenes with Zach, I was like: "Oh, Skye's here...wait, no, Liza! Skye? Nope.. still Liza...hmmmm.."

Aiden/Ryan scenes were laughable...two bad actors in one scene...

Colby OMFG...

Guilty or not, Zach Slater needs to die by a slow, painful death.

Yup, I agree.

BTW, the scene between Scott and dead Stuart was sad, but Scott's facial expression was

However, I loved the ending scenes with Scott/JR + when Adam realizes that Stuart died. Great acting.

I only remember Lunar from that sitcom 20+ years ago "Just the Ten of Us." The spin-off from Growing Pains. She was one of the coach's daughters. I never watching Melrose Place or Savannah so I have no idea about either of those characters she played on those shows.

Speaking of Melrose Place -- ABC canceled According to Jim... Does this mean Pratt will talk Courtney Thorne Smith into playing a recast Hayley?

KIDDING! JUST KIDDING!

You know he'd call up Josie Bissett.

Considering the story she is being thrown into, it would have made more sense for her to be Skye. I think Skye would be more integral to this Adam/Stuart murder mystery than Liza

Yep! 1999 that was when Agnes Nixon came back for her last time as headwriter (well co headwriter) largely doing the Bianca story. I LOVED that Marian story--it was very old school AMC and a welcome change for the show even if it was always just a B story.

Lunar *feels* like Skye to me already--I guess they wanted the Marian/Colby connection? That's the onlyr eason i can see for making her Liza and not Skye (and Tad connection)

Maybe with Sutart gone ( :( ) Marian can return to these ways a bit? AMC needs a new Phoebe/snobby rich character. I thougth we had that with the HORRIBLY wasted Mary but...

Enid and her Daughters of Fine Lineage friends would certainly have stopped a casino from being built in their small town!

I really enjoyed this episode.

First off, as everyone else has said, it was great to see people finally grieving for the dead man. Unfortunately, it had to turn out to be Stuart before the grief began, but even JR showed more emotion today than he has all week. I also cried buckets when Scott saw his dad's body.

Brianne shouldn't still be there. How is she keeping her job?

I like Luner even though she doesn't feel like Liza. I think Liza fits the story better though because she's a viable suspect as opposed to Skye whom we know would never shoot her father. Liza also has a history with David that makes her faux pregnancy more interesting (he kept the truth about Colby's paternity from her & Jake, if you recall).

Tad's jokes were really bad and I hope that part of the storyline ends soon, but I think his lack of compassion while everyone around him was grieving means the part of his brain that controls sympathy was damaged. This could be a fascinating story and give Michael Knight Emmy-worthy material.

    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton practically twirling his moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?

    • Thanks for asking that!  Back when we had another major event upcoming (a party or the concert), I had intended to ask what everyone here was planning to wear.

    • Lol. Right?  I mean the show could have framed the 60th anniversary in a different way, but the narrative was celebrating Tom and the hospital. Also, what a weirdly sexist bunch of posts about women's nail polish.  Like, yes, this is Days problem lol.  Stacy Haiduk isn't a good Kristen because she doesn't wear nail polish?  Are we in the 1950's???
