Opal's just visioning all over Pine Valley. I just don't understand Tad's expressions lately.

I loved that last moment with Erica and Adam/Stuart. I don't want Adam to have murdered Dixie or Babe (though the latter well, I can understand why it was cross his mind). I loved Erica's takedown of Junior.

I expected to feel something about Frankie's injuries (looking forward to Angie and Jesse getting some story), but haven't yet.

I thought the prayer scene, at first sight, was an Opal seance.

Marissa's rubdown of David. Just no. I feel as put off as Krystal did. I also thought Marissa is blowing smoke at Krystal.

No Rendall......which automatically guarantees a good show. The Hubbard prayer was great. I'm over Liza's "woman of mystery" act...and WTF was the deal with her not recognizing Kendall's picture? Didn't they work together at Fusion? For God's sake, do a little research, Chuck!

I thought it was good to see Zach on an episode with no Ryan or Kendall . It emphasized that he is a character in his own right . Quite liked his scene with Liza . Again he was a little on the backfoot which doesn`t happen often with Zach . Thought Lisa looked good . Her hair was a softer copper and she looked very golden .

Neither Kendall Ryan or Zach should be on everyday . Over saturation is not a good thing .

Also had Rendall popped up dancing again something horrible would have befallen them . Best to let them be happy off screen .

Cheers! Rendall v6.0 can be together all they want. Ryan can call Kendall the "42nd love of his life until the next one comes along" and they can dance around in insipid little circles until their damn feet bleed... but do that garbage off camera, out of respect for the delicate constitutions of the majority of viewers.

ICAM! Today was a great show for family scenes. I'm optimistic that Pratt will just keep bringing improvements as he has for the past 6 months.

I thought it was just me! It took me a few minutes to find the AMC thread.

I loved Erica reminding JR that she hated Babe too and asking if that meant she killed Dixie.

I liked Opal's visions and I thought she was hilarious with Krystal & Marisa.

When Marisa asked Krystal how loose Krystal thought she was, my mind couldn't help thinking "if you're anything like your twin or mama, pretty damn loose!"

Ziza were hot once again. Thorston Kaye finally showed some life this week!

The best part for me was the Hubbard family coming together to pray for Frankie.

I'd have been fine with it had it been Krystal straddling David, giving him a great massage which leads to its logical conclusion! :) But between a young woman and a married man who we've been given strong hints are father and daughter, hell no! I did love that Marissa is very much Daddy's girl! :)

No denying those were very insipid little circles and the light jazz was fairly appalling . They are my Daytime Achilles heel but I can recognize cheese when I see it .

I am thankful for small mercies though . He could have launched into a DWTS number *shudder*

    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
