Eden can die. Cane can go to Australia. But Gloria and Kevin LIVE :). "Just for today, everybody lives!" (Doctor Who, Eccleston).

OT: You just quoted "The Doctor Dances" and I think I fell a little bit in love with you.

Yeah, MAB needs to play more beats in some of these stories, or else she'll just end up being another LML with better writing and production.

It's kinda hard to end up like LML (unless you are Passanante/Guza/Pratt). She would have to screw up every single storyline to go that far.

How hard is it for her to let Hogan write the stuff for the characters that she obviously doesn't want to write for? Or hire someone that would. And then mix it all up?

LoL, no I agree with you. I just meant in similarity of structuring stories.

Ah, finally reciprocation! LOL

OT: Can I say I'm dying that a US network is not (yet) broadcasting the 2009 Doctor Who specials? I've seen 'em both, of course...but that is such a waste of revenue. It is the Heroes point all over again: Why not capitalize on the fanbase when the iron is hot? I loved when Sci-Fi released the last series within weeks of the UK premiere. That's how you do it. But, alas, I guess SyFy is not interested in the specials.

Why oh why must there be yet another triangle? And, like they're spitting us in the face, it's two women and a man. Again!

Have the writers run out of inspiration? These elements must not run across our screen again. Especially if the talent lack as much charisma as the former incarnations.

Well, since

Tammin is leaving again to shoot another movie

, who knows if it's really happening.

Now that's a spoiler I like.

But why even set that up? Jeez. They should just put all these actors on backburner status if they're being written as such.

But... they are on backburner. And have been for a long time.

It was just a minor scene that is supposed to make us think there's conflict. We won't see any of that for a few weeks, I'm sure of it.

After watching Monday's show: major props to Judith Chapman who really put on a strong performance and Janice Ferri Esser wo wrote a great script linking the before-stand alone Xmas show feauturing Michael into the current story context.

Such episodes show me why watch Y&R. Kudos!

Well JT, Victoria, and Colleen were. Now it seems that they're coming to our screens more often now that something's brewing. And I'd rather they weren't. Even if they play it badly, can they write it well?

In terms of the Winters, if they're gonna be on backburner status, my point is why even bother creating these half-assed storylines for them, seriously? For a quota? This whole thing doesn't make sense.
