At the very least, Victor walking in on Rafe and Adam having sex would put the "Restless" back in "The Young and the Restless". OTOH, I'd love it if you think J.T. was developing feelings again for Colleen, then - surprise - he isn't. ;-)

Expect more of that next week.

Does anyone know who's portraying the orderly at the psychiatric ward? The one who told Jana and Lauren he'd keep an eye on Kevin? That guy looks familiar to me.

WOAH! Too old, lol. This guy was much, much younger (and had a full head of hair). He was the dude who came into Kevin's room with the clipboard. The one Lauren and Jana, who were there w/ Michael, protested to about being asked to leave before Kevin had made his breakthrough. (He might've also been the one who suddenly turned into the chipmunk, but I could be wrong.)

Kay's wedding. It will all get better soon.

I'd only tolerate Ray.T. if we could have Nip/Tuck-style production values. And I don't mean the lighting.

If Laurelton wasn't his story, it certainly bears many of his quirks, including the repetitive dialogue and story beats and the heroine at the center of the tale whose past includes being shamed out of town by its' close-minded citizens for being a whore. (JER is a good example of how and why religion screws with some people's heads, lol).

There was also the hot minute they had Dylan dating Eleni and appeared to be setting up the phenomenally boring triangle of Eleni/Dylan/Frank when they were still toying with A-M/Harley/Blake. What was funny is that Harley mentioning Daisy was why Eleni couldn't be with Dylan because of his values or something, but she then doesn't seem particularly fazed by A-M's two divorces in three years.
Other random observation from my current viewing: I am amused by Eleni/A-M living at the Spaulding mansion in the same bedroom where he was living with Blake and they kept the same set for when he was living there with Lucy.

Knots Landing

Jane Elliot was pretty amazing and that “oh what could have been” rivalry with Abby.
After a couple of rewatches since getting KL on streaming I can see why now Strasser had negative feelings about her Knots experience. There’s not much to Dianne Kirkwood at all other than being a diva caricature, and her character just fizzles out only making 2 brief appearances in S12 (and not the 3 most sources claim) with her exit being a throwaway scene of “oh yeah she was still Karen’s boss and is acting unnecessarily cruel”. I would consider the misuse of Strasser a waste of talent.

This is how I felt. I also hope they're misleading us when it comes to Max. I don't want another year of him being the same mess he was before. I hope that we get to see him actively trying to be a better person before getting drawn into whatever they were teasing.
This is exactly how I feel. I stick around for those individual scenes and the relationships. I just need one story I can latch on to.

I thought it was OK - my main complaint was they were too vague. We needed at least one or two solid moments.
I'm still enjoying individual scenes, relationships, performances. Once that stops I will go back to not watching, as I often have.
