God Nelson, enoguh with "hair models" term. It's not funny... it's just dull...

I agree on everything but Vail Bloom. I like her. Plus, she's an eye candy.

He didn't mention Brianne Moncrief nor Cameron Mathison? Why?

ITA about Jake Silbermann! He's horrible.

Oh boy - I bet they're not taking this kindly over at Van's board. But then again, they can never accept the truth. They'll ban Nelson. lol. Jake is horrible and that's a fact. Van isn't much better.

Crystal Hunt is fun. Nelson should just stick to his precious melodramatic Y&R ravings and not publicly humiliate actors. Yeah, I agree with many of his choices, but its pretty low and tabloidish.

And Vail is fine- the role is written thanklessly, and she appears too young to portray an assistant da.

I enjoy Val, but I very much agree she is rather young looking to realistically portray an Assistant District Attorney. But her lack of experience makes up on how many cases of hers were a bust. Also, with her connection to Paul, I guess it made more sense to have her as the ADA to keep that tie to Genoa City.

I sort of disagree about Crystal Hunt, I don't care for the character of Stacy Morasco, but she has done well portraying the character in her time on the show.

Ronn Moss has his good acting moments at times, he's not bad all the time.

I also think Jacqueline McInnes Wood is actually quite good.

just 95% of the time. I had to laugh at him being the only vet on this list among a bunch of young stars

IA on JMW. I dont think she deserves to be on this list. The material for her thisyear has been absolutely horrible but she was quite good with what she was given last year

I also disagree with Bloom. Ive never had any issue with her

I don't think Crystal Hunt is bad either. I liked her when she played Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light

Ronn Moss I've never, ever liked. It's funny he's the only vet on that list. As for JMW, I think she is only as good as the material she is given. With that being said, her entire storyline is completely dreadful!

just wait till we get the DC "hair model" list too, since they all seem to share the list.

Pretty much par for the course Nelson. There's been some much bigger offenders, but he gets so wrapped up in just being Nelson that those get missed.

The worst acting I have EVER seen. And I mean at least in my 23 or so years of soap viewing, was Ronn Moss's and McInneses's "performances" after Steffi's death.

McCinnes sp? on the roof was a HOWLER. AN ABSOLUTE COMEDIC MOMENT!!!!

And Ronn is the worst actor in theatre, television, film, high school plays, dinner theatre, commercials, and every other medium that ever was or will be.

They are all pretty tight, all the same stories, all the same critical consensus. I am awaiting their turning on OLTL, as Nelson and Ron have officially broke up again..

It's incredibly annoying how smug they come off at DC, they make their opinions sound like fact and often tend to belittle people who like/enjoy something they might not like/enjoy.

Don't get me wrong, I think DC is a great resource for soap news and happenings, but their opinion pieces are sometimes laughable.

The show does look great though!
    • Well, she just said "ladies" on the show but she didn't specify they were fellow actresses. It could have been some of the women behind the scenes of the show. There was a lot in the interview that wasn't clear to me.
    • Now would’ve been a great time to get the next A plot going, versus Bill and Katie and Steffy and Liam rehashing the same BS about Luna we have been hearing for weeks.
    • I feel it could benefit from a focus on one of their three A stories or a solid B plot. But right before the turnover from Guza to Thomson, outside of all things Dani...there's nothing too A story-ish going on. Still entertaining for me, but it's noticeable that there is not a main story with other B/C stories going on. It's just...a bunch of stories going on.    I do hope the build to Winterfest and us actually seeing it THIS month will get things moving again.    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
    • GET THAT HEFFA, NOSY NURSE!!!   I'm sorry to see Smitty and June coming to a middle ground. It seem like that tension would be between them for at least one more story arc. A writing change?   I'm sorry but I love the teen unit of Ty, Samantha, and Jessica (and Rocco, Danny, Charlotte over on GH which is what today is reminding me of). I'm a sucker for soap teens. lol.
    • I really hope Laura doesn’t get reelected. She doesn’t deserve it. Imagine her campaign staff, freaking out at the Metro Court as election results come in while she’s hanging out with Sonny.
    • Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? Is it just me or did they never even say the name of this soap opera? Days wasn't new in 1973 and there was no "Jack" with three daughters on The Young and the Restless. What soap are they talking about? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.
    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
