What a mouth-breather." And just so I don't turn this thread into "Soap Hunks Pictorial: Part Two", what was with those Spinelli/Sam/Jason "Are you really a PI?" scenes the other day? God, they just went on and on forever, and were complete filler. I'm getting the feeling, more than ever, that entire storylines are being lifted from these episodes, and a hap-hazard C-story is just being thrown together at the last minute to fill up space. The show has lost all momentum. Usually by mid-April, you can see what a show is building to in May Sweeps -- if not specifically, at least generally. (Like the serial killer revealed/Rex's dad on OLTL... or Nick/Sharon/Phyllis blowing up on Y&R, or the Otalia/Frank wedding fallout on GL) But with GH, it's just puttering along with ZERO build. I didn't like Maxie being there in the middle of the JoLu fight. I really wanted her to STFU. I thought it was funny that Johnny basically threw her under the bus, though. Maxie should've ripped him a new one for doing that. Instead, she defended him. I love JoMax but the writing is killing them. However, the writing is killing the whole show. So what else is new? Anyway, I listened to GH today from my computer and was glad that Maxie finally admitted that she's just a shallow slut who could never find passion with that unappealing Spinelli, and just likes him as an accessory. Spinelli needed that to be free. Can Maxie and Johnny have hot, sweaty, up-against-a-wall monkey sex now? It's been a while since I've seen that on a soap. I'm tired of having to turn to porn for that, or to have to go looking for it myself in the bars. Drinks are expensive. I want to see Maxie picking Johnny's chest hair out of her teeth. Or hole in the wall, the way you're talking. Now I've got to look up another slang. "Mouth-breather". I had to google "Butterface". I'm 44 (almost, sob). I'm not supposed to know all this stuff. Next new vocab. "Abstinential". I wish I had to take the GRE vocab all over again. Confused! I thought that was supposed to happen on the first HD episode 4/23.
