I already like Stacy. I'm ignoring her outrageous behavior and focusing on her interactions with Schulyer. I don't think that OLTL is that bad. I feel like the stories are solid. It is the performances that are letting the show down.

Ann, I agree 100%. I won't name names but one certain story could be on an entirely different level, emotion investment wise if the actress had the chops. Picture a young Heather Tom, or even Gina Tognoni in the role.

And I like Stacy too! The show needs a female protagonist. She is written like a caricature right now but Schyler is helping to flesh her out. She is not an earth shattering actress but I think she is going to be excellent. The show is just shoving her down viewers throats, no balance.

I don't think Viki is going to have a front burner storyline again, i feel that this next year is going to be one set of bad news after another behind the scenes wise, so i am gonna try to see some good in it.

Alot of Days fans are still enjoying that show after it being stripped to the core. lol.

I think she can carry a storyline, however, not within 2 months of being on a show should you be featured 5 days a week. She is like the damn energizer bunny, she shows up in every scene. I expect her head to pop out of a dish of flan while Tea is eating at the diner.

And Bree, Mark, Melissa, the girl who plays Langston (who is suspiciously backburnered) can all carry storylines..

You won't name names? The list of bad actors on OLTL is so long, if we named names, we would never stop. LOL! I do think that OLTL has a lot of promise. Crystal Hunt will be an asset to the show once Stacey is over her Rex obsession. Scott Clifton can also do some good work. We need of Langston and less of Starr. I don't think that everyone has be good soap actor to make a show enjoyable. But if OLTL insists on using its younger actors so prominently, then it should feature its stronger ones or write to the strengths of the weaker ones.

Clearly, Vicki, Clint, Bo and Nora are on their last legs. They will be phased out or become supporting actors over the next couple years. We will have to adjust to this new reality.

I disagree. I watched her entire run on GL and a few other things Crystal Hunt has done. I like her, but she really cant carry a storyline. Then again no one person should ever have to carry a storyline.

Bree i will give you. However she can only carry an extreamly well written storyline with good direction, IMHO.

The girl who plays Langston is by far the best under 40 actress the show has. I wish they would use her more.

I will always believe that RC did intend on not making Jessica, Mitch's daughter. Instead, IMO, he also planned to reveal that after all it's Rex who is Mitch's child, not Jess. I would see why Roxy would have let everyone believe Viki's daughter was Mitch's, in order to protect her own child. If Mitch knew too, he would have gotten immense joy out of rocking Clint and Viki's world by that revelation too.

As for liking Stacy in the future. We'll see. I have this lingering suspcion that she might fall victim to the KAD killer. Then again, she appears to be far away from Todd and Marty's atmosphere, so it wouldn't be the killer's mo to kill her.

I think down the road, we might learn a logical and sad reason for why Stacy clings onto this crush on Rex and in a way wishes she was Gigi.

This will not come as a huge surprise to you rtr, but I strongly disagree. :P

Wow! I missed this. I think perhaps you were being facetious?

Well she seems to have her sculpted playdough nose into everything else. I can see her finding out who the killer is in between discovering the baby swap truth, and holding Shane's life hostage. She's just so clever that way.

This reminds me of the line from THAT THING YOU DO "For I am Spartacus!". Cept now we'll have to call her Starrtacus.
