Even the Jessica/Natalie rivalry isn't that interesting or complex. That sister wanting her sister's life tale has been done to death with Lindsay & Lanie, Gabrielle & Debra, Pat & Maggie and Dorian & Melinda.

Cain and Abel? It's an old tale, but some of the soapiest tales are old ones. I thought revisiting the dynamic between the sisters was interesting. And I don't see Natalie wanting Jessica's life, although I know the Jessica fans have always felt that way. Natalie just wants the life that should have been hers.

Did Bo and David even have one scene alone together before David left again? I guess they have decided not to bother building David's character as long as Tuc only makes occasional appearances, but with all the months spend on Buddhist humor, and on the Buchanans trying to stop him from finding out the truth, there should have been more story than Bo being sad, telling Matthew what a loser David is, and David leaving town yet again. They had months to try to move the story forward and they spent most of it repeating the same scene over and over.

Agreed. I love humor in soaps, but corniness is a sin.
