March 5, 200916 yr Member The WTF category: Renee Jones/Lauren Koslow, DAYS (I could see both in supporting, rather than Lead... Zucker could have been Lead) Thaao Penghlis, DAYS (did he do anything last year?) Ronn Moss, B&B (Right. Lead. Totally. Jack Wagner might kill himself. Has Moss EVER been nominated?!) Michael Easton, OLTL (WHAT?!) Emily O'Brien, Y&R (seriously, who is she sleeping with?) Amelia Heinle, Y&R (I barely saw her last year!) Brianne Moncrief/Shannon Kane, AMC (Part of me wants both to be nominated just to see the godawful tapes they'd choose to be judged by) The "Way to Go!" Category: Debbi Morgan, AMC Elizabeth Hubbard, ATWT Susan Haskell, OLTL Jeanne Cooper, Y&R Melissa Claire Egan, AMC Alley Mills, B&B Kathy Brier, OLTL Cornelius Smith, Jr., AMC Glaring omissions for me: Elizabeth Hendrickson, Y&R, Younger/Supporting (not sure of her age) Robin Strasser, OLTL (a fair share of camp, but she had a lot to work with this year!) Brittany Underwood, OLTL (she EASILY acted circles around Alderson and Fath, and had better material in the Ray Montez story than Fath had all year) Alison Sweeney, DAYS (though she was very pre/post taped during the Rafe/Killer storyline, she carried a lot and could have been lead) Megan Ward, GH (I thought she had much better material all year than Laura Wright) Jason Thompson, GH (he carried a lot of material and had a spinoff during the year... Great material surrounding the pregnancy/wedding) Chrishell Stause, AMC (it's a shame she didn't have material for supporting, and is too old for Younger because either category would have benefitted from her being in it... especially that dreadful younger actress category!) Trevor St. John, OLTL (anything with Susan Haskell that wasn't doe-eyed gooey mush was worthy of submitting and winning) Mark Lawson, OLTL Oh Dear God In Heaven: Laura Wright, Sarah Brown, and Tamara Braun (The Carly Club) all pre-nominated. Gina Tognoni and Heather Tom (OLTL's Kellys) both pre-nominated. GH and B&B didn't even have anyone to submit for Younger Actor, LMAO!
March 5, 200916 yr Member There's really slim picking when it comes to males at B&B: Thorne, Eric, Ridge, Rick, Marcus, Nick, and those are the only ones I can think of right now... No wonder everyone sleeps around on that show! There's not much variety. I'm disappointed by the lack of ATWT discussion for this pre-nom's list. I feel like I'm the only one discussing. Has PissAnt scared everyone away and I just didn't get the memo? Edited March 5, 200916 yr by Actor87
March 6, 200916 yr Member My hopes for noms out of these or who I feel deserves the final nominations out of these: Best Actress: Bobbie Eakes (All My Children) Debbi Morgan (All My Children) Elizabeth Hubbard (As The World Turns) Susan Haskell (One Life To Live) Jeanne Cooper (Young & the Restless) Best Actor: Darnell Williams (All My Children) Grayson McCouch (As The World Turns) Maurice Benard (General Hospital) Robert Newman (Guiding Light) Peter Bergman (Young & the Restless) Best Supporting Actress Melissa Claire Egan (All My Children) Kelley Menighan Hensley (As The World Turns) Alley Mills (Bold & the Beautiful) Heather Tom (Bold & the Beautiful) Arianne Zucker (Days of Our Lives) Kathy Brier (One Life To Live) Best Supporting Actor William DeVry (Bold & the Beautiful) Bruce Weitz (General Hospital) Tuc Watkins (One Life To Live) Michael Graziadei (Young & the Restless) Ted Shackelford (Young & the Restless) Best Young Actress Kirsten Storms (General Hospital) Julie Berman (General Hospital) Kirsten Alderson (One Life To Live) Farah Fath (One Life To Live) Christel Khalil (Young & the Restless) Best Young Actor Daniel Kennedy (All My Children) Cornelius Smith Jr. (All My Children) Billy Magnussen (As The World Turns) Mick Hazen (As The World Turns) Blake Berris (Days of OUr Lives)
March 6, 200916 yr Member Elizabeth Hendrickson is 29 so she is 4 years too old for the Younger Actress category. With the underwhelming lack of talent in Younger Categories, maybe they should move the age up to 30.

April 17, 200916 yr Member I pray that Michael Graziadei gets nominated and takes the gold this year For what exactly?
April 25, 200916 yr Member I can't understand how Grayson McCouch got a pre-nom over Jon Hensley (or anyone else for that matter)! He's the most boring, one-note actor on that show and I don't understand why they ever brought him back. Jon had a lot of great stuff last year (Lily's overdose and Dusty's murder, Lily's departure (Martha and Jon were great in those scenes), the affair with Carly) that should have gotten him a pre-nom at least.
May 8, 200916 yr Member My choices for nominees (my list is somewhat limited because I only watch two soaps): LEAD ACTOR Christian LeBlanc LEAD ACTRESS Susan Flannery Judith Chapman SUPPORTING ACTOR William deVry Kyle Lowder Ted Shackelford Not that Graz isn't Emmy worthy, but 2008 wasn't his year. May 8, 200916 yr Member Not that Graz isn't Emmy worthy, but 2008 wasn't his year. For what he sent in? I hope he wins. He put in the daniel/amber breakup. It was his best work, ever.
