Monday's show is really cementing me as a Chloe and Billy Shipper. Their chemistry and the hit the nail on the head reactions to the actions around them are simply priceless. I wish they'd call the baby Cordy instead of Delia though.

The Katherine stuff was good as well.

I thought I should stop reading the spoilers, but I can't help myself. I still adore the show even though I mostly know what's going on. The show still manages to surprised me. They seem to be the only show that is trying to keep some stuff a surprise.

I agree- Y&R has offerred up lots of surprises lately that keep me on the edge of my seat. Even though there was some speculation, NO reliable source was able to confirm the results of those DNA tests. It reminds me of the days that Y&R was the only soap (and sometimes B&B) to not be mentioned in SOD's VCR Alert section.

Couldn't resist anymore and had to watch Monday...

Jeanne Cooper conitnues to be amazing. Great Kay stuff.

And Cane is done with being passive aggressive, huh? Jill's genes start to shimmer...

It's as if he and Colleen went to group therapy and decided it's time they spite the world. What's next: Lily stealing Ana from Tyra AND Karen!? LOL!

I yearn for that! No previews, no 'VCR alert', and no text in the online guides. Just go cold turkey...and let NO spoilers out. Even with the mag "Spring Previews", either shun them, or give them such vague generalities ("a couple will fall in love; someone will be in great jeopardy") that they are useless.

Then, if we could just stop Canada from going day-ahead...I'd be right as rain!

I read the spoilers too, because I have zero discipline in that regard :).

I totally agree with your statement. But imagine if we suddenly started flying in the dark...and had virtually no idea what was going to happen. How I'd love that.

 Spoilers will be the Death of Soaps. Discuss.

I think Y&R goes that extra mile to give spoilers that sound very neutral-sounding on paper -- but which wallop us when they hit the screen. It's a far cry from, say, Frons and Guza who will delineate, word-for-word and scene-by-scene their entire Sweeps SL for GH. Including the ending.

I loved today's show and especially the scenes with Billy Miller and the baby, he has the most natural reactions in different situations and makes things seem so seamless and easy especially compared to Goddard. I loved it when Chloe asked Billy to bring the baby to her and he said "You want me to pick her up?!?"

I don't have anything positive to say about the Tyra/Ana/Neil/Karen storyline and what happened today soooooo.....

It was nice to see that Colleen didn't back down towards Victor, and I love that Jack is letting her know how Vic works so she's not surprised by any of his tactics.

The scenes between Kathrine and the Nurse were cute and really enjoyable compared to what's going on in Wintersville. All the talk about milkshakes made me want one.

I'm glad Paul found out the truth about Roger being a scam artist it's to bad that he found out to late to stop the wedding though.

    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
