The major exception is the Winters. I wonder if the writing team realizes that group is STILL not working (thanks, Tyra and Ana!)...and if they're contemplating major fixes for that tale?

A lot of you are under the impression that Rowell wants to come back. Saying so in interviews and actually wanting to are two different things. Especially since the way she's talked about the show and certain co-stars in public since leaving, I wouldn't be surprised if she's never asked back. She knew what she was doing when she talked about the behind the scenes drama. Rowell asked to be let out of her contract, they didn't fire her, so it wasn't like the show gave up on her in the first place. They owe her nothing.

But Patti isn't a brunette or a businesswoman. Why would she want to change her face? I believe she and Jack kind of had some peace before she left the show.

Mari Jo Mason seems more plausible to me. But even that one is tricky, I'm sure Victor would never firgive her for shooting him.

I'm not that bothered by the opening. It kinda gives me a sense of continuity, and I don't mind that it's not updated that often. Actually, I'm not even looking forward to a new one. I'm afraid it would turn out to be something dreadful like the 'red porn opening' was to some, or Rauch's openings at GL were to me (but compared to Conboy's opening, they were gold).

I miss that porn red opening so much. Seriously. I like Nadia's theme...but it doesn't invoke in me some classic comfort. I found porn red exciting, and I miss it terribly. I'd love to see exactly that opening return.

The porn opening was nice for that time, but I wouldn't want it back. I'd prefer for them to incorporate the painting that morphs into people style opening again. They can use a different classical arrangement of Nadia's Theme. The jazzy version for the porn opening was too radical. The classic arrangement of Nadia's Theme is just too synonymous with the show itself.

The Winters needs a bitch to spice things up. Everyone in that storyline is just too damn nice, hence they are boring bc people want to see drama.

I think this goes back to what DeeDee (if I am wrong, I'm soo sorry) said about MAB not afraid to show that these characters do have some intelligence. Sure, Phyllis made a mistake with Brad, but she learned from it. On almost any other show, she never would have done that. She would have decended into Psycho Bitch mode and tried to conceive a baby to keep her marraige or concoted some plan to kidnap Sharon and kill her or some other stupid idea.

In the end, I expect Phyllis to blow. There's only so far bottling up your emotions can get you. That's exactly what Phyllis is doing - she's putting on a facade in hopes that it will enable her marriage to work better, and it won't. As everything else in her life, it will blow up in her face.

Is it the promo that CBS did for all of their soaps in one? I haven't seen their weekly Y&R promo this week, but I did see the one they did for all 4 soaps.
