ABC SID reports that Roscoe Born has signed on to return as Mitch Lawrence & will begin airing soon. His return is short term.

I'd love to see him back on Y&R as Tom Fisher; I loved that character, but I'll take a short stint on OLTL too. No one does a villain like RB.

No Terrible Tom again, ever. Like Brad Carlton, Tom's exit was PERMANENT. John Abbott made sure of that. And Kevin made it even more permanent....grinding those ashes down Michael's garbage disposal.

Will his son Kevin EVER remember that Tom left behind a safe deposit box with unknown contents??

But back to OLTL....honestly, I never liked Mitch Lawrence. He was just too over the top. I fear what RC will do with him, since he has a tendency to make some baddies especially eye-rollingly awful (e.g., Carlo Hesser).

BOO!! ONE LIFE this is one stupid move. Mitch Laurance should stay dead. Since he's coming back, I hope it's to reverse the Jessica is Mitch's daughter b.s.

I thought Mitch's return was horrendous. A completely unnecessary, sick history rewrite mixed in with very overdone gothic storytelling which was uncomfortable to sit through. I don't know if Paul Rauch could do what Tomlin and later Malone couldn't, or if Mitch was just perfect for the 80s. I know RC likes to add campy humor to his villains, but after Carlo and Tina I don't know what to think of his next attempt at a returning character. After his last return, they have almost nowhere to go but up with Mitch, so maybe this will work out.

I'm not sure why I forgot Tea. I didn't see her as the big OTT creation Carlo, Tina, and Mitch were, not until this time around. They've made her fun to watch, but I'm not sure I want to see this in a Mitch story. I'm not sure what I want to see in a Mitch story...
