Y&R: Discussion for the Week of January 5th 2009

Sharon Case was really good in today's US episode, she went from subtle to angry effortlessly at the end. Sometimes I forget that she's a capable actress. I also loved the music used in those scenes.

Looks like now that the divorce is going to happen, we will have our old Abbott living room back! Jack needs to burn Sharon's couch, paintings, and ornaments.

LOL! at Gloria's plan to stay in jail and brainwash Gloria from there backfiring on her.

I liked the Victor and Jill scenes too, and Katherine and Murphy are a joy as always.

Oh, and I'm glad they used that flashback of Katherine clobbering Jill over the head with that glass vase!

Today was an enjoyable episode overall. Tomorrow looks good too, from the previews.

She drove me up a wall on My So-Called Life. In a good "train wreck" kinda way.

I can still hear Angela's mom say "Hallie Lowenthal" with those bitter undertones.

She's been on a lot of shows I have watched. It is interesting to see she played the same role on Y&R in 2007. Who was seeing a doctor then for 4 episodes?

I'm not a big fan of the one shouldered dresses but Phyllis certainly has a figure to diet for. The one I thought was dressed all wrong is Sharon, why would she pair black tights with a light, satin pastel dress? Is she Lindsay Lohan? She should have had on lighter opaque tights, but she certainly is trailer trash in her taste.

I wonder if Olivia is right and Ashley will be heading towards another mental break down when she finds out how Victor can just throw her aside in his quest for revenge against Jack.

Right the stupidest storyline I ever heard of, my husband likes looking at women's boobs. Good thing most women aren't like Lily, or the divorce rate would be 99 percent.

Haha definitely. As soon as I saw a recap of Lily being angry at Daniel for looking porn I was annoyed. I never want a flashback to that time of the show again. It's best to keep it somewhere deep and only reminisce about it in small doses.

I don't know it might be really funny if she found Billy's porn collection and it turns out to be a lot less tame than Daniel's. She'd be scarred for life and then get over it in a day or two.

I hope they don't go that route with them again. Has anyone heard anything about Forbes March being seen on the set at Y&R? I would love to see him at Y&R maybe with SC? Heck Daniel Goddard could use someone older than all of the twenty somethings but being as dense as Cane has become maybe Cane couldn't handle an older woman.

I'd take Nick and Sharon again if it means that Phyllis gets the hell out of the Newman universe, where she doesn't fit in at all, not to mention how weak and needy she is with Nick.

Nope and I hope he never brings his hammy acting style to this show. *shutters*

Looks like that rumour was started by some jilted Forbes March fangirl on the SOC board. I doubt it's true, the person provided no sources.

Thanks for the info to each their own I guess. Now, that I think about it, I don't know that Y&R would be the right place for him but I'd like to find out.
