Word. Hogan made a huge mistake by getting rid of her. You know you're truly talented when you can constantly write great scripts through multiple regimes. And I still can't believe she wrote the script for Zach's death, just a few years after losing her young daughter in the same way Zach died. SLG is awesome.

Wow, I didn't know that about SLG and her daughter - thats really sad. I wonder what she is up to these days? I hope she hasn't stopped writing.

Wow, I didn't know that about SLG and her daughter - thats really sad.

Sofia, her husband, and the person who killed Hallie (Sofia's daughter) went on Oprah to talk about what happened. I wish I kept the recording (maybe I did on one of my tapes, but I don't remember).

It's every driver's worst nightmare: accidentally hitting a child. It was moving day for Lara and she was driving her family's SUV around the block. Meanwhile, one street over, 11-year-old honor student Hallie Geier was about to walk her dog. Even though they had never met, their lives were about to collide in a tragic way. As Hallie left her house with her dog, the sixth grader stepped right into the path of the SUV Lara was driving. In a split second, Hallie was accidentally run down. Lara has never spoken publicly about the accident nor has she seen Hallie's parents Ted and Sofia since that fatal day—until now. No charges have been filed against Lara.

In their darkest hours of grief, Hallie's parents, Sofia and Ted, knew what Hallie's last wish would be. "If Hallie had lived," says her father Ted, "I know that she would have found it in her heart to insist that we reach out to the driver and make sure she was okay."

Ted and Sofia embrace Lara. "This was an accident," says Ted. "You had the choice to drive away, which a lot of people do, or to stay and try to help her. You did everything you could. You didn't do anything wrong. We know that."

"[Hallie] had a very short life," says her father Ted. "But she had a great life and it's still going on in a lot of ways." Hallie's parents are reminded of their daughter's compassionate soul and desire to help other children through the hundreds of stories, poems and journals of "Fierce Wonderings"—her thoughts that she left behind.

I know this is a little weird, but every time I watch Zach's death, I picture Sofia as Hope just because Sofia wrote the script and Zach/Hallie died the same way.

Same here. I wish a show would hire her.

I don't think its weird if you actually saw the clip on Oprah - its understandable to make the connection. Either way, it must have been really hard to write it or perhaps it was cathartic for her. The fact that Sophia forgave the lady driving the SUV is uncanny given Chelsea's exit scenes with Hope this week, where Hope has risen above the heartache and not only forgiven Chelsea, but taken her into her heart. I'm guessing Sophia would have approved based on the above? Would of been great if she could have written those scenes.

Yeah, I definitely think if Sofia was on the team, she would've been given that episode to write.

I was reading an interview with Alexandra Moltke about Louis Edmonds and this quote made be run to this thread...

INTERVIEWER: What kind of actor was he?

AI: Louis was really a character actor, and I always admire the grace with which he could slip into his role and be consistent despite the inconsistencies that resulted from having three script writers. He was also very steady during the terrors of taping. He could read the Teleprompter beautifully, and I felt that if the set fell down or everyone forgot their lines, Louis would somehow save the day.

Now, if these Dark Shadows actors noticed inconsistencies with three script writers, what would they think today? As long as actors had to stay on set in those days I imagine they noticed everything. I bet they'd just go insane these days working such long hours with the hellish scripts that arrive.

Dark Shadows was also live to tape IIRC, meaning they had one shot and one shot only to get it right. I don't even think they rewound their tape because of how strapped the show was for cash.

In terms of the pressure of getting right on the first try, I could definitely see that. But I don't think they spent really long hours on the set or more hours than anyone else does today. The difference is that they rehearsed more whereas today, it's less rehearsal, more taping.

Chris Cullen has directed GL. Does anyone know if he is related to Kathleen Cullen who played Amanda on GL in the early 80's?

Last year, Anna Theresa Casio wasn't suppose to be on the OLTL nominee list (she only had about 5% and you need at least 19%), now this year Fran Myers is missing from the OLTL nominee list.

RON CARLIVATI, HEAD WRITER

CAROLYN CULLITON, WRITER

SHELLY ALTMAN, BREAKDOWN WRITER

ANNA THERESA CASCIO, BREAKDOWN WRITER

JANET IACOBUZIO, BREAKDOWN WRITER

CHRIS VAN ETTEN, BREAKDOWN WRITER

MICHELLE POTEET LISANTI, WRITER

GARY TOMLIN, WRITER

AIDA CROAL, WRITER

ELIZABETH PAGE, WRITER

JEANNE MARIE FORD, WRITER

Another screw up is Albert Alarr being listed as a Producer, while Noel Maxam is missing for DAYS.

KEN CORDAY, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

EDWARD SCOTT, CO-EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

GARY TOMLIN, CO-EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

JANET SPELLMAN-RIDER, SENIOR COORDINATING PRODUCER

TOM WALKER, SENIOR COORDINATING PRODUCER

TIM STEVENS, COORDINATING PRODUCER

ALBERT ALARR, PRODUCER

I don't suppose these mistakes can be rectified? Or is it going to go unnoticed again? <_<

I think next year, the NATAS should send me the list to check over before they release the nominations.:P

I think next year, [the Academy] should send me the list to check over before they release the nominations.

Forget that; they should just ask you to pick all the nominees (I still cannot believe B&B, and not Y&R or even OLTL, is up for Best Drama Series!).

Toups, you didn't add Mike Cohen last aired.... to the list. It's been a month and he's not on your "Not happened in the credits yet" list anymore.

You know having Melissa Salmons come in to replace Lisianti really isn't gonna do any real good for the show. There's still a majority of sucky script writers at OLTL. I was hoping that it would be Lennon or Schock who'd be given the pink slip. Oh well.
