December 24, 200817 yr Member Remember the series premier is December 29, 2008 @ 10pm! I Whitney and I can't wait. Edited December 29, 200817 yr by Kyle
December 24, 200817 yr Administrator I like Whitney too. Hopefully the show will focus on her and her relationships and her work. I'm disappointed The Hills lost focus on Lauren, so I hope it doesnt happen again to Whitney.
December 24, 200817 yr Member I'm just glad to see some new drama. No Justin Bobby or Spencer. Is it weird that I like People's Revolution's Kelly Cutrone? Lol. She's such a bitch, but there's something I really like about her. It'd be such pins and needles to work for her, but if you did a good job, I feel like she'd be your biggest supporter. December 26, 200817 yr Member I hope she's not as boring here as she is on the Hills. Hopefully a new cast of characters will do her good. Anyone else think her main love interest just isnt hot. He looks dirty with that long hair that doesnt look washed and I dont find him attractive at all
December 27, 200817 yr Member Anyone else think her main love interest just isnt hot. He looks dirty with that long hair that doesnt look washed and I dont find him attractive at all I don't really think he's that attractive. But people love the band and Australian things. He dresses pretty oddly--like Justin Bobby.
December 27, 200817 yr Member I hope she's not as boring here as she is on the Hills. Hopefully a new cast of characters will do her good. i think MTV will soap it up for her just like they did for Lauren on The Hills & Laguna Beach.
December 28, 200817 yr Member i think MTV will soap it up for her just like they did for Lauren on The Hills & Laguna Beach. Could be. Lauren wasn't that interesting by herself on LB. She was always around, but she wasn't really dramatic, it was always Kristen that was the drama queen.
December 30, 200817 yr Member LOVE it! Im glad my fears about Whitney being the lead here didnt come true. I cant beleive how great the 2 episodes were and they seemed like such a refreshing and much needed change from the never ending drama on the Hills that never changes. Whitney NEVER fit in on the Hills and her inclusion there felt forced. She shined here and a new cast of characters did her well. The opening is fierce! Who sings that song bc Im digging it. Olivia is my favorite. She comes across with such a bitchy undertone but she's subtle about it and not so transparent. She's definetly going to be the one Im going to watch for. I was glad to see Alex. I much preferred him over Jay who I still dont care for. While he does nothing for my eyes, his roommate, Adam is pretty hot.
December 30, 200817 yr Member Couldn't devote my entire attention to it, but I liked what I saw. Theme song sounded good. Definitely got the bitch vibe from Olivia. I'm having a dinner party with friends.......(silence, so that doesn't mean you). And lol about Kelly from People's Rev dissing her. Glad to see Alex back too. January 7, 200917 yr Member o.m.g. wtf. really mtv? look at this. there is no way this isnt the exact same set! oh ok, apperantly this "apartment" was from The Hills. So i guess the girls coulda moved into the same place where Lauren use to live or whatever, but still... OMG! WTF! I cant believe how blatant this is...you'd think MTV would give their viewers some intelligence considering how well known The Hills is and how much that apartment featured for the second and third season...you'd think they'd at least try to disguise it with something other than a coat of paint...hardwood floors, a new kitchen...
January 13, 200917 yr Member Hopefully this whole show doesn't revolve around Whitney and Jay. He doesn't even seem to be worth all this trouble.
January 13, 200917 yr Member He really doesnt. Im more interested in his roommate and they need to expand on Olivia bc she seems to be the most interesting person on the show
January 18, 200917 yr Member Would people like The City and The Hills more if they weren't billed as reality shows? We know part (or most) of them are scripted, but does that make a difference? It seems like a lot of people complain that they're too scripted, but most things on TV are... Either like it or don't like it in general, not based on what it's called. It doesn't make any sense to not watch one of them just because of that, especially since you'd probably change the channel to an actual scripted show. Lol this isn't about anybody on this board, just a rant about how people treat these things. Edited January 18, 200917 yr by bandbfan
January 19, 200917 yr Administrator Erin and Olivia are my two main reasons for watching this show now. I'm so infatuated with them right now. LOL I love Olivia's hairstyle (that strip of hair that's tied to the hairclip) and dimples, and she's so pretty and proper. I do notice the subtle bitchyness too. She reminds me of Blair Whardof, except she's not so blunt. Looks wise, she reminds of of Julia Roberts. Erin is like the opposite of Olivia for me. She's the cute, girl next door type. I love her bangs.
