He's already said that or something to that effect multiple times. The press refuses to cover it.

The press really hasn’t been covering it at all. I really hope that first time voters (including recent citizens who I have been trying to encourage to vote) do due diligence and acquaint themselves with the fact beyond the buzzwords and headlines because they can’t expect to get much information from media at this point. The media outlets with the farthest reach seem to be giving the least amount of solid information.

Republicans ramp up attacks on Kamala Harris amid swirl over Biden future
(theguardian)
The article focus is that the Republicans and Tr*mp campaign are ramping up these attacks in a two-pronged approach: *both* to attack her as Biden's VP running mate, AND to attack her as a potential replacement candidate for president.

I appreciate the way The Guardian frames these attacks as slurs and baseless lies and is clearly pointing out how wrong this is.
(Sad that I have to write an appreciation of a news article that
doesn't engage in "both-sides-ism", and actually reports that lies are lies, and sexism is sexism, and racism is racism.   This shouldn't be unusual!)

It’s especially sad since the attacks have been occurring for years now. I can remember trying to report threats to her made on Twitter, which Twitter only pursued investigating a handful. It was disgusting.

And that was years before Musk bought Twitter. Since 2019.

There was no trap. Biden did what millions of people do every day: he went to work sick. That's it. That was his big strategic error. He needed a sick day and didn't take one. The rest is all opportunism by the Beltway press and it's already started to backfire.

I had to laugh at MSNBC being described as progressive.

Whoa, there is too much going on today. Those photos…he looks a mess.

Many of those people who attend his rallies are carrying and are unbalanced.

Some people are expressing doubts that it was an actual weapon, some are saying pellet gun? Who knows? Oh well.

He's fine.  He was grazed with a .22 supposedly. I want to know who the shooter was. Why a .22 of all weapons? Why didn't you spend more time at the range? So many questions.

Reports about one bystander killed. :( This violence is not acceptable.

Yes, I was sorry to see someone else was killed.

Now they are saying it was a sniper with a rifle from a couple hundred yards. That makes more sense.
