I feel for the families getting threats but I have no sympathy for CNN as an organization. They worked harder than anybody to elevate Donnie. I kind of enjoy watching them hoisted on their own petard. I do hope Zucker gets kicked to the curb.

I agree with Khan. In this country white male mediocrity and also failure gets elevated while the rest of us actually have to work to earn what we get. Zucker will likely end up replacing Les Moonves someday. CNN is a ratings hit just as Fox once was once upon a time. That's all these people care about.

So basically, the economic trajectory now is the same as it was under President Obama, except the Consumer Confidence forecast is dipping lower.

Can someone remind me of what the supposed benefits are of having this loudmouth in Chief in the White House?

Hopes of ‘Trump Bump’ for U.S. Economy Shrink as Growth Forecasts Fade

And Eric Trump was interviewed last night I think talking about how the US was booming = people need to look at their 401k's

Just 6 months ago didn't his father tell us all the US was in a death spiral. Plus these people are really out of touch. Those so called WWC don't know or care about the stock market or 401k's. The stock market also boomed under Bush's fake housing boom. The wage gap continues and some of us are fighting our own communities to not opt out of a $15 min wage(include to that over the next 5 years) while the wage gap grows and our middle class continues to shrivel.

I guess it's no surprise we have some of the dumbest people representing us in Washington. Someone who doesn't understand basic supply and demand. And even coal miners know their jobs are shrinking. This is the biggest known fraud these folks are pushing.

As Rick Perry himself would say, "Oops".

Rep. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) is officially running for the Senate seat in Nevada currently held by Dean Heller for 2018 and has the full Harry Reid machine behind her. He apparently asked her to run. She also already has the endorsement of Sen. Cortez-Masto who won Reid's seat last year.

She just won a Congressional seat in a Trump district last year and Heller is extremely vulnerable due to his stance on Trumpcare. He risks alienating the Trump base but if he supports it he could lose moderates and independents in a state that is evenly divided by party affiliation. He only won his election in 2012 by 1 point and the option "None of these Candidates" (an option exclusive to Nevada) received more votes than the difference between him and his Democratic opponent.

China and Russia don't care about G20 resolutions.

I slightly disagree with you because these are two countries whose economies are no longer as strong as they once were when oil and steel were powerhouses for their respective economies.

If both leaders, Xi and Putin want to stanch any possibilities of unrest at home (people stay afraid of authoritarians for only so long and there have been modest protests in each country as of late), they've got to keep their economies steady, and trade is a major component of every economy around the globe. Only the U.S. leadership thinks they can pursue a mainly isolationist stance and benefit from it.  No one else believes this. Not even Russia.

China cares about anything that will show themselves superior to the U.S.  If it is climate change (which China is the leading exporter of solar panels), then so be it.

Russia's economy is in and out and in recession, so they need trade and they know that it is not just going to be with the U.S. and trying to pressure former Eastern European blocs (and possibly a few Baltic states) to join their Eurasian trade group is not going to 'cut it', so as they defy the West, they are also trying to trade with them.

They need Europe in some ways, but I don't think North Korea is a topic they'd sway on. I think it's just something the press likes to push as valuable.
