I liked the Zach stuff with Taylor. Ive thought they'd make a good pair since she came on. Id rather he leave Kendall and end up with Taylor. It would be great if they started to connect while Kendall is in this coma

IA. Id rather they retire the set.

I actually love the fact that David moved into Wildwind. That set was a huge part of AMC's history in the 90's! It has dark roots, so for David to move in, I think that is a smart choice!

Tracy Thompson still isn't impressing me that much. I thought today's dialogue was just ok. The Ryan/Annie/Greenlee scenes weren't written that well - some of the lines made me gag. Kidnapping storyline cliches like "once we make the drop". Blah.

The funeral was nice...it wasn't this huge event, just a subtle scene with Stuart opening the ceremony! Loved that.

I was drawn into Reese so quickly! I really liked what I saw from Tamara...hopefully she keeps it up!

Tamara is whispery -- I'd forgotten how much GH schools its females (well, most) to speak so softly. The better to hear Sonny's barware smashing around them.

However, I am a fan and am thrilled to see TB as Reese. Liked the wordless interaction between her and ER. Thought she and Thorsten Kaye had chemistry, too, when they hugged, something I wasn't expecting. Speaking of hugging -- that was some Hug-a-Thon between Bianca and Reese.

I thought the funeral was low-key but moving -- right down to that 80s ballad which was so replete with Classic 80s Soap Feeling that I almost forgot that the funeral was for relative newbie Babe. <_< Teared up at Little Adam burying his face in his stuffed cows.

Taylor is a spoiled brat but that was some great speech she threw out at Zach. It's been a while since anybody talked to him in that way.

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
