OMFG!

This Bianca/Reese/Baby/Zach/Kendull/Greenlee storyline is amazing. I loved how they toild Green the entire story. And Zach offered? I didnt see that one coming, i thought Bianca had asked him. I LOVED that greens realized he was the father. Those were the scenes of thje day IMHO. I cant wait for Reese to come and eventually kendull to wake up.

the rest of the show was good. Jacob Young sold the jr/babe scenes. The Natalia/Frankie/Angie scenes were great as well.

 I am NOT a Babe fan but c'mon. Don't you feel silly posting this? We all know you hate Babe--why would you think you'd find her death scenes moving?? Did you? *so confused*

I actually, despite her character, found them pretty good and sad.

I thought today was a good day--the script was the best it's been in a while (by script I mean dialogue)--who did it? I still STILL wonder why we haven't had a mention of Stuart, Jack, etc but...

I'm no fan of Babe by any stretch -- and I hated the "You made me a better man" dialogue from JR because, really, when would that have been? After Babe slept with Jamie? Passed off Bianca's baby as his in order to keep living the Chandler lifestyle? Ran off with Jamie and said baby? -- but that goodbye in the chapel had me welling up. Jacob Young is selling this material and that is really unexpected because I never saw this from him when he was on B&B or GH.

Also, when JR carried Babe through the hospital corridor, the music they had playing me reminded me of classic 80s soap music. It was almost Santa Barbaraesque.

I don't know what to make yet about the Binks/Zach baby thing yet. I can't see Kendall objecting to it if she had been asked so I don't understand why they had to make it like this big secret where Bianca couldn't possibly tell her because Kendall hates surprises.

I can't believe I'm going to say this but --

I like Greenlee in the context of the Kanes and Zach and Bianca and Kendall. For a moment there, I thought she was going to refuse to keep Zinks's baby secret! She has that naughty-little-girl face on. Pulling her out of the Ryan-Aidan toxisphere is doing wonders for her character. Now all we need is for some Jake-Greenlee interaction...

Frankie *sigh* you are so purty.

Love Adam & Erica.

Who is the actor playing Joe Martin again? He has such an authoritative presence.

SO MUCH WORD!

For the first time since right after leo died i saw the REAL greenlee. When she figured out the trusth and just flat out said your the father? and didnt let them try and talk her into thinking otherwise. It just worked. Greenlee was who Greenlee should be. And then earlier in the week her scenes with Jake and Joe were great.

They really need to pull from rylee/ailee and thorw her between jake and amanda - because jake and harley just dont work - and keep her mixed up with kendull, zach, binx, etc.

and becca budig has been beyond fab this week.

By far the best script yet! Kate Hall wrote those Babe/JR scenes beautifully.

I was tearing up like no other during the JR/Babe scenes. I am not a fan of AB, but she sold it. Props to the makeup team too - her pale face was spot on. I can only imagine the buckets of tears coming out my eyes if that were Alexa in those scenes. But kudos - one of the saddest/best death scenes in history.

I'm really going to enjoy the Jesse/Angie/Natalia storyline.

I guess its bc we have different head writers and their take on characters is different.... but it is very strange and jarring to me that Zach isn't crazed about Kendall like he was during her first coma storyline. Its such a stark difference that it feels odd to me. I'm expecting him to be at her bedside and demanding to stay with her through thick and thin. I understand his new baby has been born and he's trying to take care of Bianca, but he doesn't even seem that concerned. Sure, he checked in on her when Jake was performing surgery (which btw, if I had to walk in on my boyfriend having brain surgery during a tornado with the lights out - I'd be bawling my eyes out) --- but I don't know - its weird.

Definitely love that Greenlee has been thrown into the Bianca stuff though. Glad we're not getting more Ryan/Aiden/Greenlee aftermath drama.

Also, love that David Hayward is back!!! :)

Babe's death has been well done so far, but I know I'm going to get seriously annoyed by the Babe = Love BS that every character on this show will now be forced to spout for the next four weeks. I particularly dread what TPTB will make Bianca say.

And much as I appreciated Bobbie Eakes' acting yesterday, I am ready to mute all the "Whhhhhhhy, Gawd? Whhhhhhy did you take mah Baby Doll? Babe was the kindest, most saintliest girl that ever did live!" dialogue she will doubtless be delivering.

    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!
