Babe didn't exactly welcome him with open arms. In fact, she disowned him more times then I can count. After everything that David did for Babe and to protect Babe, all he ever asked was that she let him be her dad. And she wouldn't let him. He was never good enough. If he wasn't doing something to help her, he was useless. She treated him like something she stepped on from the moment she knew she was his kid, and she's never looked back.

LOL, I think David is the only one dragging. Sounds like they take her to the chapel so that she and JR can get married, and that she dies in his arms there. Then David comes in, flips his [!@#$%^&*], takes her up to the roof (why, who knows) then eventually he'll bring her back down. I'd have just chucked her off the side of the building and been done with it, but whatever floats their boats and all that.
