Y&R Olivia's Return

Have to push this thread because during my Y&R catch-up session I just came across Tonya's return.

And boy, did I miss her. Did never realize it untill she actually showed up on the October 23 episode but she is probably the character I unconsciously missed the most (next to Tricia Cast's Nina) in recent years. We got bigger and smaller snippets of Ashley and Christine on B&B but Olivia was practically gone for 4 years without much notice (even though she was on for Dru's "funeral").

Even though Dru used to be the firecracker, either Barber woman is a fixture on Y&R and I'm so glad that Liv is back in GC. Olivia & Nate, the Aids-Story, OLivia & Malcolm, Little Nate, her friendship with Ashley - very fond memories.

Now, Olivia's surprising link with Karen has me intrigued and seeing her as Aunt Olivia with Lily also really feeled good. Hopefully Tonya will get a storyline of her own in the end...

BTW; someone at CBS/Sony/Bell apparently had an epithamy who one of Y&R's largest groups of viewers is: Next to Neil, Devon and Lily there now is Ana, Tyra, Roxanne, Olivia...

Hmmmm. Olivia was a huge bore. I just don't care about her return.

I would rather see the money spent on a permanent Tricia Cast return...

I WOULD LOVE Veronica Redd back as Mamie!!!

And of course, the return of Drucilla.

When written for, Tonya Lee Williams is drop dead sensational. To me, a superior actress to Victoria Rowell.

I would LOVE Veronica Redd back as Mamie too, she and Jess Walton had great hateful chemistry.

Tricia Cast is good...but I'll take Tonya over her.

Hmm right now I'd take Nina over Olivia (if we HAD to choose) because Nina has been gone from GC longer. IA that TLW is superior to Rowell, because she makes it seem so seamless.

It seems to me that they won't use her much, but I'm glad we have her. After the November stuff ends, she should get more of a storyline. The Winters definitely need something that will keep us interested. That's where Tyra should come into play.

The current regime is cycling stories. So I guess we'll see more of the Winters and eventually Liv after the Parisian remote...

As for Liv & Victor. No for shame, this is just a too B&B move. FIrst Olivia schmoozes with Brad and the she steals her best friend Ashley's previous/next lover... Say no to temptation!

I'm not sure if Olivia and the Furious Tache are the way to go. There's still too much unfinished business between Victor and Nikki and Ashley.

I'm sorry but I'm not even following Neil's "storyline". It just seems like a big joke to me. I don't even know what's going on except that the girl from ANTM is back...

What's the secret? Is Neil in love with Karen or Tyra (I hate that they gave her that name). And where does Olivia fit in all this? What's the big secret she has?
