October 13, 200817 yr Member For the Chandler mansion, I think its been about 4 years. I remember Krystal helping to remodel it back when she and Liza were fighting over Tad That's right. When they reaired the Rylee wedding (from May 2004) last Christmas, one of the scenes had Tad and Krystal playing with paint as Liza watched (IIRC). I remember that the new set debuted right around the time that the opening premiered, so yes, it's 4 years.
October 13, 200817 yr Member I want to see erica back at linden house or back to where she lived after that house, the colors in that house were amazing and I loved her bedroom. I want to see the chandler mansion be made over, it lacks color and character, and erica may be the woman to change the look of that house. I would like to see Wildwind, but who would live there, theres no marricks, santos, or greys around.
October 14, 200817 yr Member In the Spring for some reason I was certain Julia was thinking of opening a clinic in Wildwind. ANgie still could though maybe it would be too similar to her clinic in New York during City
October 14, 200817 yr Member I feel like this is Pratt's effort to wipe the slate clean and refocus the entire canvas. Destroying businesses, homes, common places and reconstructing the town in a more functional way, placing emphasis on characters he feels need it more, which from all interviews SOUNDS like Erica, Adam, and unfortunately Fusion. Who really knows, but I feel we at least will get new homes for Erica and Adam out of this, because Erica's been floating without a definitive home for a LONG time, and Adam's Chandler mansion doesn't have that same grand feel that it did before they downsized it. When OLTL can have the Llanfair sets and La Boulaie sets, plus the Buchanan mansion, the Buchanan Ranch in Texas, Todd's new house, a sprawling hospital, the Palace Hotel, the LPD, Roxy's Hotel, the Hair Haven, Carlotta's Diner, The Bon Jour Diner, Ultraviolet, Capricorn, Rodi's, Angel Square, the High School... I can't even name that many sets for AMC anymore. The fun about the tornadoes is that they don't have to hit everything, they can just whack whatever Pratt wants to destroy, and leave other things untouched. Don't forget OLTL also has apartments for John and Rex, as well as that house that Gigi shared with Brody and Shane that used to be home to Miles. OLTL really has a lot of sets, and big ones at that which is odd considering it's supposed to be filmed in such a tiny studio. I think Pratt's tornado is definately a good way for him to solidify his canvas and restore a sense of community to AMC by building new homes for the characters he plans to use more and common locations for the people of PV to socialise. I think the conFusion set is nice, but doesnt fit that of a hip nightclub, but rather some sort of juice bar or cafe. I also wouldnt mind seeing a better set for Fusion, something similar to their hospital set (my favourite AMC set) with the corridor, reception area and offices off of the corridor (in the same way that there is hospital rooms, I honestly dont get why the CEO's of a supposedly major company sit in two desks opposite each other in the middle of their office).
October 14, 200817 yr Member Trey (Kendall, Leo, and David's half brother) burned down Linden house. So she can't go back there. Who knows why the two CEO's sit in the middle of the main room. I would love to see Fusion go. What they were trying to do with that story (SATC) just never worked. The bar can go with it. I don't mind the sets; it's just stale. The Chandler Mansion doesn't bother me. Angie and Jesse's apartment does. It's not "homey." Besides, isn't that Josh's apartment? I liked when they had the "outdoors" yacht club this past summer. The yacht club set is OK. Would anyone notice if they replaced the Valley Inn? No one goes there these days anyways. Zack and Kendall's house still looks unfinished to me. And Greenlee's penthouse, (no matter who lived there), only bothers me because of that behind-the-fireplace section. What the heck is that supposed to be? Too small for any furniture. And where's the kitchen? Whose kitchen is off down the hall like that? THat bothered me about Erica's old penthouse too. By far, though, the hospital is my favorite set, and it looks as if (from the DWTS sneak peek) that will be unfazed by the tornado.
October 14, 200817 yr Member Trey (Kendall, Leo, and David's half brother) burned down Linden house. So she can't go back there. Well they could always rebuild it. Im really not buying Erica being satisfyed with living at the yacht club
October 14, 200817 yr Member Ah I'd miss the Valley Inn if it was gone. The yacht club did kidna replace it--which is fine for me when they used the outdoor sets but kinda pointless otherwise
October 14, 200817 yr Member the new Cortlandt mansion is pathetic. That definetly needs to be replaced
October 14, 200817 yr Member Trey (Kendall, Leo, and David's half brother) burned down Linden house. So she can't go back there. No, Trey burned down the house that Erica used to walk by every day when she was a kid and dreamed of living in some day. She got it when she was with David Hayward.

I didn't count John's or Michael/Marcie's apartment because I considered it part of Roxy's Hotel, so I didn't break it down by room. And isn't Rex's loft supposed to be in the same building as Capricorn? I thought they established a WHILE ago, when Troy lived there, and Antonio in another loft in the same building, that they all were in the building with Capricorn, because they would trip down there quickly and Antonio was tied to it through Keri, etc. And the carriagehouse (that now houses Gigi and Shane) falls under one of the Llanfair sets, for me. But there's also the courthouse, the BE/CE Office complex, the Mendorran palace, Sarah/Talia/Layla's apartment, Cristian's art studio, the airport, the Colombian prison...
October 14, 200817 yr Member Oh, and do they even need to bother with new Fusion offices? With Kendall lapsing into a coma , with Greenlee leaving the show , with Babe dying , and with Annie being a general psycho, can Amanda and Randi even keep it afloat with the class action lawsuit hanging over the company? Might as well just dismantle the company.

It needs to be written as a serious company and not a sorority where every female under 30 comes to ahng out
October 14, 200817 yr Member I think it'd be great if Erica saved Fusion and turns it around working with Kendall and the rebrand it into Enchantment. Erica could take the reigns while Kendall is in her coma. Probably run it out of the old Enchantment office because the Fusion building was destroyed. Kendall comes out of the coma, sees Erica running Fusion out of the old Enchantment offices and throws the idea out that they rebrand Fusion and run it together. It'd be a serious business (compared to Fusion), it'll provide lots of interaction between Erica and Kendall and provide for some great scenes and potential conflicts.
