Edge was my favorite soap and it has been such a walk down memory lane reading this board and seeing all of the old clips in this topic. I've only skimmed the clips and have to go back and watch them all. Such memories. Wonder if that was mentioned as a publicity angle? John played Mike Karr when Perry Mason was re-imagined as Edge of Night.
