Daniel Goddard kind of addresses this today at a new interview with Michael Fairman .

He specifically addresses that Chloe is batsh*t crazy (my words)...but doesn't come across that way.

Me: I think the Chloe danger is SLOWLY going to escalate....she will be SCARY...but that in classic Bell style (I hope) this may have a 9-month build. I am TOTALLY cool with that! For all of us, I'm thinking we need to breathe in, breathe out, and surrender ourselves to some Bell-paced story build. I hope, anyway.

Yeah, but this is what they did with Sabrina, David, and Adam. They leave us guessing what their motives really are and instead of intriguing me, they bore me because either nothing happens or the predictable happens (particularly David). I mean, give us SOMETHING for goodness sakes. Hopefully Amber as a friend and confidant (which began to slowly change yesterday: did you guys notice how Amber kept looking at Chloe like she was batty LOL?), she'll reveal more about her past life.

I need to know WHY she's gonna fall off the deep end!!! And not when she's about to, for instance, poison Lily with pancakes (YIPES! LOL). I'd really prefer a steady revelation. No more surprises, please (David's tie to the mob  ). That way, it won't seem like the writers were clamoring for a way to tie up a plot and will actually seem like a character went off.

I also wish, again, that they didn't make her crazy. Elizabeth is quite an asset to the show. Hopefully, she'll be a long term thorn in Lily's side and vice versa (à la Phyllis and Dru or, as previously mentioned, Dorian and Vicki on OLTL). And after yesterday's violent display, it seems that CK may have the talent ruminating in that petite body of hers to sustain this rivalry after all.

I think I agree with you. Except I'll note that it is the Bell style to wait YEARS sometimes to do these reveals.

I think we'd be more patient with it if it hadn't blown up in our faces, just now, with David and Sabrina. But I'm (as always) going to be patient and tolerant. They have till January :).

I wish EH was staying for the longer-term, too. But I suspect they are writing her into a corner. Mind you, Phyllis was once BSC, too -- she kidnapped Danny, forcibly impregnated herself with his sperm, ran over Cricket, etc. And look at her now!

Speaking of BSC, anybody remember Tricia and Sabryn Genet? Man, I couldn't help feeling sorry for her. Would love it if she returned to GC, although I have a feeling she's still in that padded cell somewhere, hugging Matt goodbye and dreaming of her "wedding night" with Ryan.

Right. If they didn't do what they did to David and Sabrina, I'd definitely be more receptive to the surprise option. But the writers gotta know that the audience will be bored to death if they created yet another short-term character that would be written off. I also hope that if she is loony, they don't rehabilitate her like they did Jana, Michael, and Kevin, and, to a certain extent, Phyllis. ICK! More long-term villains please.

To the person who said they loved a vengeful Victor: ITA baby!!

And to the person who said they always sided with Victor in the Jack/Victor feuds (although not sure if it was in this thread) ITA ITA ITA!! Jack "Born with the silver spoon in his mouth" Abbot.

Victor must be so pissed that his son is an exact replica of his sworn enemy LOL.

If it's not on the page...

I'm hoping the changed writers will get a better grip on Lily.

I'm still PRAYING, with Sabrina apparently not long for the world (based on what we've been seeing...not a spoiler), that the reason for the Paris remote is... DRU!!!!

Ooooooohhhhhh... whoever is taking care of the show obviously had no intention of contacting Rowell. She's been asked a million times if Y&R contacted her, but nothing. I wish she'd be joking with us and then make a surprising return in Paris, but what are the chances?

Y&R was so sad today. Jill breaking down in Kay's arms and Kay telling her she wish she was there for here when she was child. :( Amber begging Daniel not to leave(and then Cowbell knocking on the door just as Daniel is about to give in ) Nikki and all who am I kidding I didn't feel sorry for the bitch, and after 2007, I don't think I ever will.

But 2007 Nikki wasn't Nikki. That was a new character, a Senate candidate, played by Melody Thomas Scott, I suspect against her will.. MTS, to her credit, kept Nikki alive inside this other woman, and brought her back to life in the aftermath of Out of The Ashes. We've had real-Nikki ever since!

The drama on this show today was very intense. Very dark. But a good show nonetheless. The previews for tomorrow look good too. I loved the scoring on today's episode - it fit the feel of the show perfectly.

I wonder why we haven't seen Cwikly in the credits lately. They haven't let her go have they? I ask because Seidman was credited again today and Cwikly hasn't been credited in how long - over two weeks or so? What gives?

Anyway. The show is on fire.
