I've always laughed at those who think that Katie and her love of the moment went too far in their on-screen sex, or were offended by Luke and Noah kissing. But today, even I was shocked by the kiddie porn we witnessed. The actor playing Parker is , what, 14 or so? And he's in a sex scene with an actress who's 22? These producers are pervs in my book, if they think their audience is dying to witness pedophilia.

I think they praise the parts they like (seeing Holden get story) and ignore the rest (like how it completely destroys all the relationships they have.) Even the SOW editor said she liked the friendship, but once they did the nasty she hated it.

On to today's show...

Ick...I do NOT watch this show for "kiddie porn" to quote Mala from SOW. The Parker/Lib scene with them up in his room was just uncomfortable to watch. I dread the thought Lib's going to get knocked up, making Carly a grandma and Brad a grandpa before he's even raised a child of his own. And thanks to some really obvious teen stupidity...like Lib thinking she's "covered" because she got on the pill today...I think that's where this is headed.

I did not think Katie could be annoying just standing in the background, listening to other characters, but she IS. That is my "Hate Katie 24/7 message for today, 7/24/08.

I will say, I was glad Janet got to put her finger up, and silence Katie while she and Brad discussed their daughter. I have been waiting YEARS for someone to shut Katie up, and finally, someone does.

Nothing's going to change because Lily wants a divorce or Carly wants to end the affair. He's got to jump off the fence and make a choice. I don't see why either woman would want him, when he's made it clear he's fine having either of them.

I will say, it was a nice nod to history for Luke to bring up JuliaII's name to Noah, even if they kind of ignored the fact Holden also had an affair with Rose when Luke was a preteen that he should remember.

Line of the day goes to Jack..."let me guess, it starts with "Brad" and ends with "is a dumbass."

And I did like the Jack/Parker scene, especially when Jack reinforced the idea that Parker needed to respect Carly. Now...if only.....*sigh*

Missed seeing your post PJ. The show was pretty dull to me. Such great shows on Mon, Tues & Wed and today we get this.

When the age is FIFTEEN, and we had squeamish feelings the show would "go there" for months, I have an issue. I don't need things to be that realistic. It would have been more than enough showing them in his room, kissing on his bed, then cut to them getting redressed after obviously having sex.

I know a lot won't agree with me, but I think they did "glamorize" sex for teens. You want real?? What teenage boy's room is that freakin' clean? There's light, happy music in the background, Parker gushes "you're so pretty", and Libby's all "covered" because she got on the pill that day. JP is one twisted piece of wreckage to sink this low. If Lib ends up pregnant and having a child at 16, it will prove that she is obsessed with baby stories.
