They knew what they were taking. Adam stole it from Vanessa with plans to flog it off, but Pete and Ross wouldn't help him sell it so he took it with Robbie, the only person that Adam hasn't been a huge bitch towards.

I can't answer the last question as it's been a serious worry for me as well. It's looked horrible for awhile now.

Wait a minute!! They're killing off Donna?!!

I haven't been keeping up with news about Emmerdale recently, but just found out about this!

And of course she brought Marlon's baby back with her! Another Dingle brat! I swear that family multiply faster than rabbits! If they thought they could get away with it they would probably change the name of the show to Dingledale!

I hate that whole family. It was a sad, sad day when they showed up.

Things like this actually make me glad I stopped watching this show!

It was revealed she was going to die pretty early on in her return. I agree with you about most of the Dingles over populating the show, but the Donna story (which ends next week sad.png ) has been my one of my favourites of the year in soapdom. Verity Rushworth has owned so awesomely.

I have such mixed emotions about this upcoming week. Donna's exit is going to be must watch TV, as the whole brilliant storyline has been so far. But then we also have that smug git, Aaron, forced upon us as well. It's going to be hell having to sit through Aaron be some sort of guidance guru to Adam and whatever else they have planned for him will surely make me want to wretch. The only way to make up for his return will be if they actually write for his friendship with Victoria, which they are probably way too scared to do because it proves how much of a mistake it was to make Aaron gay with all the chemistry they share.

I haven't been watching lately but have they finally invested in Victoria? To be apart of the core family and young, I've found it odd that none of the current regimes have really invested in her. The last time I remember Victoria having a big story was when Daz was on the show and that was what .... back in 09?

I agree with both your sentiments on Victoria. She hasn't gotten a story since Daz left, who I would love to see return. Still, yesterday's episode was a great Sugden moment and at least this way she has a been a very strong supporting character. I like think they are just waiting. For what, I don't know. I'm more surprised the super talented Isabel Hodgins hasn't quit, yet. I hope she never does.

I only remember Verity giving good work toward the end of her first run so this really impressed.

Too bad about the woodentop Barton. Runs in the family...

Can't wait to hear why her brother and sister won't be at the funeral.

    • It's so jarring seeing the changeover from Sherry Mathis to Louan Gideon.  The vibe, mannerisms, and overall personality of Liza changes instantly. The chemistry Sherry has with both David F and Joe Lambie is gone the second the recast happens.  I wonder how viewers took the news of the recast since you didn't have time in between airings before the change happened. Quinn/Sarah... One overacts (Quinn) and one under acts (Sarah). Wendy of 1985 is a good mix of the 1982 sweet Wendy and the 1983/84 vixenish Wendy.
    • Oups!! I guess when i was doing the editing, i left a part of 3169, too (RTL Lounge airs 2 episodes per day back to back). Sorry about that ! Tonight i ll try to record 3171-3172. If i m not mistaken 3172 is missing from YouTube.

    • I would put Felicia in the 'small dose' auntie category because she means well, but comes on too strongly at times.  In small doses, she would be a blast to hang out with.. but in anything larger than a small... she would be exhausting. I tend to prefer lower key people than people that are always 'on' all the time.  Those people can veer off into energy vampire status pretty quickly.
    • I didn't like the Harry story, but Nazar did have a great introduction. He was probably the highlight of last year.  Now that you mention it, I guess the truly dire stories (Nicole, Harper/Drew/Phil, Nicole) didn't start until summer.
    • thank you all for contributing to the Vault. I am slowly getting towards watching the 1998 episodes

    • I pray⏤and I know it's a big prayer⏤that Noel Maxam is somehow able to figure things out budget-wise so we can stop re-dressing existing sets as "new" sets. I know in apartment buildings apartments can generally look the same, but I'm over it on this soap. The last time he was executive producer was in 2011 when the original Horton Town Square was introduced, and we had some other sets get introduced around this time (likely pre-commissioned prior to his election), but I'm trying to have some hope he can pull this off. Let's [finally] see it.
    • Definitely not the best of RC's breakdowns. I don't know what it says that I could pick up his trademarks yesterday 30 minutes in without even knowing that he did one. There was something more...quirky/boardstroked...about Dani. Though I love the Dani/Nicole scenes, she was just a little too hip?...which made me think back to the episode when she broke into Bill/Hayley's house. Then watching the episode later on, I saw Hayley was being used as a punchline to the more interesting and relevant Bill/Ted scenes (see you all were just talking about how you hoped they got scenes...one thing this show is great at...what people want on this board...they already have the foresight for it. The reason I feel the DNA test will get mentioned @Cheap21 in more detail). And then poor Anita reduced for the most part propping up an album.    Needless to say, not my favorite RC episode. And since we are in aftermath week, I just smh. And barely worth a rewatch. BUT...was there good for me?    Yes. Thankfully, we still got good aftermath beats regardless of the breakdown.   Like I said, I really like the Dani/Nicole scenes. But I love their dynamic. And I was looking forward to the shoe being on the other foot once the SilkPress storyline hit climax. Quirks aside, it did not disappoint. Dani came in, and she came in fierce for her sister. I loved her attacking Eva. And then her being surprisingly introspective about Nicole due to her own experience. No wonder Nicole reacted to her being self-aware. So did I.    Meanwhile Bill and Ted finally met up. I'm kinda sad that we did not get that sooner given the scenes that played out sidepiece in the background aside. It might have been interesting to see more of their status as non-Duprees coming into the family explored.    And of course I can't leave without mentioning Eva vs SilkPress Sheila which was the highlight. Both of them were giving. And SilkPress was just so cold with it. I did love that Eva finally stopped letting her gaslight her. Sad to see the duo break up. But I did love that she went to Ted. So...the next turn begins.   And speaking of turns...uh oh at Kat and Tomas. I'm sure he won't be staying away from her. So most definitely, Kat vs Eva ain't over. It will be interesting to see how it goes now that most people know that Kat was right all along.
    • Nah I enjoyed it much more last year because of the Harry plot that ended during that time. Nazar being introduced and them. But this time it is so lame and nothing I like forward to anymore and I’m one of them long time fans. Of course I would be upset if they would cancel it but maybe take a year off or two and return refreshed
