Twinnie Moore is way too good for this show. She's batting a thousand, while everyone else is tut-tutting all over the place. The worst is Diane Langton. I can handle bad acting from younger people, especially on this show, because they're usually finding their feet, but there are no excuses for her constant horribleness. Trading Myra in for her is one of the most senseless mistakes I've ever had to experience.

I will say the one on one scenes with Pete and Cleo are well done and are the strength of this story so far.

I'll be honest I find this pedophile storyline to be very disgusting and difficult to watch. As such I fast forward a lot of the episodes or just haven't been watching. But today it made it seem like he and Cleo had had a prior relationship/encounter before?

If so that is absolutely vomit inducing. I felt so sick and sad watching the last scene. And John Paul once again morphs into the whore. Poor Porsha

Stephanie Davis (Sinead) fired effective immediately! http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s13/hollyoaks/news/a658706/hollyoaks-star-stephanie-davis-axed-from-sinead-role-as-show-bosses-terminate-her-contract.html#~piDLdKnP5UmQDg

I am truly surprised. She must have acted a damn fool to get treated this way, considering the lead status she obtained during this current regime.

Still, this is great news. She was a breath of fresh air for her first couple of years, but Kirkwood constantly heaping misery on her and turning her into a filthy skank ruined her.

Yes it totally seemed like Cleo and Rhys from Torchwood who is now playing Pete the pedophile, had a prior relationship though they may not have had sex in a way she could have gotten pregnant. Otherwise Cleo was lying to Harry about being a virgin, right? It makes sense why Pete didn't want Cleo with Harry as he didn't want to share.

Mmmm hmmm. I suspect she found doing the bullying storyline a breeze. Kieron Richardson always comes off as obnoxious in interviews, too. I really can't stand having to look at that punk face of his. I hope he gets kicked to the curb, too.

The main rumour doing the rounds is that she allegedly turned up drunk, and has been late in the past. The tabloids are putting together a case.

According to IAreSam, it's apparently bitchy BTS, with drug use apparent with some of the cast. And, James Sutton's tweet shows that she wasn't liked by everyone. But, he's not that nice of a person either, judging by some of his tweets, so...

This reminds me of the time Home and Away was mired in a similar scandal back in 2009 when Jodi Gordon left the show.

I was always a little surprised she came back so quickly in the first place.

Then again I'm surprised Jennifer Metcalfe has stuck around.

Teresa should have gone years ago.

The universe is doing Kirkwood a favor. Now if only he actually had any ability to produce this show.

Oh, I know. I was just pointing out the irony of someone calling out another for not being nice, when they themselves are not a great beacon of humanity, either.

I hope they don't recast. Sinead is awful, and should be consigned to history never to be seen again.

Theresa won't be missed, either. She should never have been brought back. But, I do appreciate the effort to humanise the character after the train crash, making her more likeable. At least she's been more tolerable.

    • I don't think they had any idea who he was this time last year. I think they were keeping their options very open. Same with totally dropping the Trina romance that was spoiled for him in the mags once FV clearly took a shine to him. Frank's priorities are bright and blazing in one color. I do think Gio and Emma seem to have worked out given that she is very dry and sarcastic and he is like a hot golden retriever, but I'd still play the field or explore quads with both with very different people - Emma with a scheming young man (of color), Gio with possibly Trina or someone else, or even a boy. Then maybe put them back together, who knows. But of course none that will happen.

    • He definitely got lost in the shuffle last year. First, they were implying that he was Drew’s son, then he was nothing more than just Violet’s bff

And then they changed him to being Dante and Brook Lynn’s son, which was clunky at first but I’m enjoying the storyline now.
    • GM is adorable, charming and fun onscreen despite months of nothing to do until recently, and has a bodacious bod. I'm not cosigning the show or this story - I haven't watched a full episode in over a month - but I think we're all taking the small victories in 2025 at this point. I'm open to testing this theory!
    • I think Jason might've posted some numbers for the syndication a while ago and the numbers for Falcon Crest was horrible. Like 1.5 rating or something, which was terrible.    ETA: it was actually Paul Raven:   New to syndication 60 min Fall Guy 67 markets 3.1/8 Falcon Crest 110 markets 1.1/5 To get into the top 40, you needed a 4.6/9 rating for reference - and Falcon Crest managed to get into a lot of markets to begin with. In the fall of 1985 Dynasty, Dallas and Knots were syndicated (show / rating / share / coverage % / markets): Dallas 3.4 10 51.7 92 Dynasty 3.4 10 48.7 47  Knots Landing 3.3 10 12.5 20  So, Knots as an example trippled Falcon Crest's rating with 20 markets - I'm sure those were major ones but it just goes to show you how much Falcon Crest bombed in syndication.
    • It's not bad but the stories move too slow. It's the same problem when Dan O'Connor was CO-HW with Van Etten, they have a million stories and they all drag on endlessly with no resolution. I'd argue the majority of the stories airing now are good but you get sick of waiting months for something to happen.
    • Thanks. I must have missed that period entirely for Lifetime.
    • Thanks. I know Marland did that type of thing sometimes but it's less likely with these characters. I don't even remember Alex ever mentioning him.
