Members Juliajms
I love this show. I hope lots of people are watching so we can have good discussions. It's going to be a good season. All you Ashley Jones fans better be watching, since she is playing Daphne this season.
Members MarkH
Let me say I am so so so happy Lafayette did not die (yet, anyway). Previews for next week show him asking to be made into a vampire. That could be amazing. I do wonder what the evil secret of that vibrating Mary Ann is. Is she a grecian goddess? On this show, anything is possible.
Members Juliajms
Me to. I was holding my breath on that one all this time. The show did a great job of making me think he really was gone. I think Mary Ann is a follower of the god Pan. She seems to get off on people who are drinking or on drugs in some way. I don't quite get it though. Here is an interview with the actor that plays Lafayette. It was actually on EW.: http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/06/true-b...tte-speaks.html

Members Juliajms
Those ratings are great news. Sounds like a lot of people found the show since the end of season 1 and the premier of season 2. Nelsan Ellis also reference season 3 in his interview and it sounds like it's already a done deal. I have to say one more time, THANK GOD Lafayette did not die. I watched a second time and I can't wait until Sunday.
Members MarkH
Do you think they'll make Lafayette a vamp?? I could totally accept that. TVGuide tells a similar ratings story
Members Juliajms
I think it's possible. Did you get a chance to read the interview I linked above? NE seems pretty confident about his place on the show now. I could definitely accept Lafeyette as a vamp, but I hope it doesn't happen until the end of the season. I want to see a little bit more of his human struggles for now.
Members MarkH
I had missed that link. Yes, he seems to think there is in his future. I like when these shows leave their books behind. I have intentionally stayed away from the books, but now, as the show diverges, it is less likely I'll be spoiled. Jason Stackhouse is insanely hot, so I don't want him to become a religious bigot. I like Lafayette and Jason most, I think. And Tara!!
Members miajere
That man is sex on a stick! And I'm very much attracted to Lafayette (story of my life). And I'm not excited about Daphne.
Members Juliajms
Ausiello: HBO just released the official titles and loglines for TB's July episodes and they contain some bloody good spoilers... http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/06/ask-au...l-and-more.html
Members MarkH
Awesome spoilers. I don't understand them all. I've been struggling with who Maryann is. The series is apparently deviating from the books a bit here, so we can't be totally spoiled. That said, here is what another website (greyblood) seems to think:
Members JackPeyton
i love how this show, like Damages, picks up daytime stars. Cody from GH, Bridgett from B&B, and now Melanie from Days.
