No, I don't think they are abusing her. All her actions have been explained and I was very touched by the way she talked about all the things she has never done in her life and she dreams of doing. Addie is a lot of fun and she knows what she is doing. She has been in the dark for a number of years and the fact that she has not given up on life is wonderful.

The more apt OLTL analogy might be the "Love Boat" not "Lifeboat". Seems like every faded star of yesteryear is being trotted out to give one last go at what made them famous.
