Today's show was really good. Clint pissed me off and I hope he eats his words at some point in time. Tina, Cris, Sarah made me laugh. David, Dorian, Addie made me laugh even harder. Viki and Charlie just made me cry.

I heard about this yesterday,

and apparently one of the actresses under consideration for the recast is Adrienne Leon.

if they have to recast this character, can they PLEASE cast a woman who looks at least a LITTLE latina? the character's father is half Mexican and it would NOT hurt to acknowledge that or add a little more diversity to the cast.

Im disgusted with Clint. Does he even still love Natalie? I get that she messed up and he has a right to be upset, but he talks to and about her with such hate and venom. Its like she's dead to him and he despises her. Thats still his daughter no matter what. I wish he were handling things more like Bo

Her selfish lies casused him to lose his family's co. and caused his other daughter her husbands life. his grandchildern lost hier father. because in large part of natalie being a selfish bitch.

he has every right and reason to act like he has been.

I just wish the Buchanans (and Jared) could usurp Starr and Cole's airtime. OLTL's young-love story is absolutely dull right now.

Give me more Buchanans, give me more Tina and the Mendorran jewels, and scratch everything else. Thank you.:)

I don't think they are going to do that and I hope they don't. Whether you like the teen s/l or not OLTL is balanced to the point where there is basically something for everyone. The Buchanan s/l is getting a lot of airtime and it deserves but if they were on all the time I would get sick of it really quick. They have to have more than 2 storylines going on otherwise it will become like another show(not naming names) where a few select people are in everything and you become sick of it. At least this way basically no one can say their favorite isn't getting airtime.

ITA the shared airtime of s/l's & characters are some of the reasons OLTL is so good right now. Right now RC is doing a good job in balancing all the storylines. First the BE crisis (Red Ball) got the most air time but different stories always surrounded it. Then there was the Rex/Adriana/Gigi wedding fiasco that seemed to get alot of airtime but again other stories were intertwined. Now the major story is once again BE and next it looks to be the Mendorra s/l but other s/l's are moving forward and at one point once again they will all collide. Excellent balance & writing!

I was a little surprised that Clint called Nat a Judas. That was going too far, but at the same time I think Vikki is being a little too easy on her, so it sort of evens out.

Blair and David were fun.

I can't wait for Tina and Vikki to have their first scenes. I felt so bad for Vikki, you could just feel how sad and lonely she is.

I agree. Besides, someone need to make the twit feel awful for what she has done. Jessica (Tess?) and Clint should keep this up for a long time to come IMHO

Ya know, I just can't buy Jerry verDorn as Clint. Everytime I see the man, I think I see Ross Marler lol.

I loved the whole Addie/David stuff, but I kind of have a qualm about it. Have we ever seen a scene between Addie/David in the last few weeks that built up to this because I can't remember. I think it would have been even better had Ron built up to it instead of trying to play it up as some big shocker. This way, it really came out of left field. Not to say that it was bad, but this IS a soap opera. We have the time to play those beats.

Yeah Addie helped David hide from... I forget who, but with her yoga--and they were flirting for a while, David found out she was "sane" etc--i think this was all two weeks or so back--2 or 3 eps. If it had built up much more the surprise element would be ruined--I think it's perfect

EricM, David was hiding out from Jared

IDA, bc this works best as a shocker. They arent supposed to be the next great love. Heck, they arent even a viable couple. This is simply for fun and comedic value. It doesnt need to be built up. What beats of the story do they need to play? Ever since Addie came back, she's mentioned that she's never been with a man and we've seen her on the prowl, trying to get some unsuccesfully. She became attracted to David, when she helped him hide out weeks ago and she put him on her list of things to do. David is all about money and it doesnt matter who he'd marry as long as he got his hands on some. This makes sense in the context of where the characters are. This would have lost its punch and appeal if handled differently and Ron did good here

Then why is Bo telling him he needs to pull it back a little? Nora and Bo have just as much reason to be angry and they're not going off on Natalie the way Clint is. I agree Clint has every reason to be angry, but he's acting like he's been waiting for an excuse to disown Natalie. JMO.
