I hope it happens next week. Imagine if BOTH AMC and OLTL were ahead of GH. Please Ratings God!!!! :D

I am very happy that AMC's ratings went up the first week that Tad and Dixie interacted together and included the "What If Dixie had lived" episode. This was the week AMC advertised the commercial with the Tad/Dixie/Kate/Adam climax (you know the story Fronsie was suprised anyone was interested in) which shows Tad reuniting with Dixie in heaven and telling her "I don't wanna go back - I want us to be together forever" and they kiss. Then Dixie tells him that he has to go back for Kate and Tad wakes up and Adam is at his bedside and he asks Adam "Is it true?" AMC usually gets it's best ratings on Monday but that didn't even count so I'm even more impressed! It did even better than the advertised big action/adventure/shoot-out/wedding CGI helipcopter scenes from the week before.

Does is strike anyone else that Frons would be angry if GH wasn't the #1 ABC soap? He should want all his shows to do well but I get the feeling that if another ABC soap overtook GH he would work extra hard to get GH back to #1 and maybe even work to sabotage the show that overtook it a little bit.

Maybe I'm paranoid but I bet he sees all the soaps as competitors to GH's standing, even his own.

I noticed the same thing. I also found it interesting to see the differential in viewer gain. GH up only +4,000 and AMC with a whopping +217,000??? Hmmmm

I think I'm going to go stand next to Toups and plead with the soap gods! :D

I am happy that Y&R bounced back a little. The show isn't great, but I don't want it to spiral downwards.

Good for B&B holding steady through all this turmoil.

OLTL's drop is disappointing, but it is so hard for soaps to hold onto any gains that I am not surprised.

This, once again, proves that quality has nothing to do with the ratings (OLTL). It's actually kinda sad.

Not at all surprising to me. I know of many who planned to stop tuning in after the rapist/victim sex. It appears that they stuck to their word.
