No exit is more disrespectful than what GL/PGP did to Michael Zazlow (ex-Roger). Firing him just as Zaz was getting sick and then calling him a "wizened old man" in the soap press takes the cake. There is a special place in Hell reserved for Mary Alice Dwyer-Dobbin.

I thought the way they treated Alan's death on GH was deplorable. It was the freaking Jason Morgan show. Then they tried to right the wrong with making him a ghost aka Tracy's subconscious. Whatever.

I also thought that every single time Jack Deveraux left DOOL this century, it was completely effed up. Especially after Matt Ashford had re-signed and all.

Most depatures on B&B were disrespectful.

There are numerous examples: CJ, Sally, Kristen, Tony, Zende, Erica, Ziggy, Whip, Massimo, Caitlin, Hector, Dante, Samantha, Constantine, Harry Jackson, Mark Maclaine ... and the list goes on. All of these characters simply disappeared from our screens without a proper send-off.

I thought the most disrespectful exit was Schae Harrison's Darla. She was on the show for 17 years and hardly ever had a storyline besides being Thorne's wife and giving birth to his daughter. Instead of exploring her character a bit more, she was suddenly killed off. For me, Schae was the only actress on B&B who deserved being labelled as "Beautiful" because compared to KKL or HT, she always looked gorgeous.

I was also very upset when they re-hired Sarah Buxton as Morgan DeWitt in 2005 only to drop her three weeks later because Hunter Tylo returned and Morgan's storyline was scrapped in favor of Taylor.

For me, it's Frankie's murder on ANOTHER WORLD, hands down. Granted, she got a final episode, but if the choice were between oblivion and begging her for life (for the sake of her daughter) at the hands of her killer, I'd honestly prefer the former.

I just can't see him killing off 10 major characters in less than a year. He doesn't do that. Knowing Jim, I refuse to believe they were going to die for real. Until I hear it straight from Jim, I'll stick by my gut instinct.

When he's finished being paid by Ken Corday, he should fess up. If he intended to kill all of those characters and keep them dead, then what the hell was he thinking? Did he REALLY think people would stick around and watch a decimated Days?

Or was this a grand story where NBC got cold feet and said bring them back?

I have to be careful when I talk about this story. This abomination still pisses me off to this day, and it's been nearly four frickin' years.

re the SSK storyline it was obvious it was real. the actors were fires. the char's were dead. Until about the time of the cirics where tony was attacked and they made Marlena the killer. IMHO, the tone changed ther.e They then went for shock value and OTT to draw people in knowing the actors would be back.

So did JERk kill 10 major char's byt he shows heroine not intending to bring them all back and undo it? No.

Did he kill around 7 and mean for it to stick? Yes.

well, IMHO anyways.
